It is torturous enough as it is, but one must also take the 21st century attention spans into account. Those who guided Dave all the way should be commemorated.

I have to pause the vid after that first level to comment. That was one of the most entertaining evil-style troll levels I've seen! It has an old school vibe because it's wide open in parts, instead of being cramped throughout like most trolls Dave plays. I never expected a title screen level to have this many evil layers to it. Very fun to watch this mysterious level unfold in an edited, non-live format. That being said, would i enjoy playing the level myself? Absolutely not.
Both are kind of eaay when you're the one who makes it. The first one doesnt have that much thats terrible difficult to execute, its more centered on HOW to do it. The aecond level is quote similar, although it does provide the one semi-challenging jump at the end

I doubt anyone will see this, but Mario Maker 1 becomes unplayable on April 2024. There is a group of people trying to beat all the uncleared levels before its too late. If you can help, DGR, it would be amazing
I'm glad people are talking about this! Though the rush to get tons of MM1 levels cleared probably won't take prominence until like January when the Mario Wonder hype is mostly finished dying down.
I think there's a separate screen he goes to to see the boos. It explains why he says "at least" this many boos since he's going by the last time he looked it up and more people might have downvoted it since then.
I think Dave knows how much we love watching him suffer, so he does this occassionally. This was one of my fav levels to watch. This beats troll levels because I see him actually suffering. I love it. Is that bad? I started watching Mario Maker from Ryukars no skip super expert in the first game. The truly terrible levels made it worth it. Now I enjoy troll levels, because people don't want to actively suffer on purpose. At least troll levels, you should progress and know you'll advance slowly and the suffering will end. These levels, you could waste an entire day and be no further unless you look them up lol Edit: For the second level, instead of cheating right away, I would of saw where people died, and jump in spots where people didn't die. You could of kept this strat a secret without telling chat, then act like a genius / luck master / whatever, with a 25%+ success rate. But the second part with the clouds. Yup. Cheat time lol

Wow these were some of the worst levels I've ever seen in my life. Seriously. Also, am I the only one that wishes Mario Maker 2 had the full ending for Super Mario World? Like the fade out to black with the sound effect? I can't hear the SMW level end theme without hearing that fade to black SFX in my mind and they should have added it lol
I will not delve onto the opinion of what or what not Bon Jovi is when DGR Wrong. I will say, however, that every time DGR plays a level, he eventually gets to a midway point. What this means is "Woah. We're halfway there." This leads me to conclude that the negative opinion of Bon Jovi might bet a skewed view as the past years of Mario Maker Levels has gone through the reference of the group's song.

With the first one, I thought that you might need to use the red shell to rebound off the ? blocks to create a path to the green pipe on the right hand side.
The first one was at least clever even if it was mean to the point of being unfun. The second was just extremely lazy design where there was little imagination or challenge for the creator and an effectively impossible amount of challenge to the player without the level viewer or tons of guessing and checking.
Good video live stream I enjoyed this. I would have liked the first level you played but a boo to second level played. I think the first level was more worth it because it's like a puzzle.
Honestly I'd just boo any level that is a "die/softlock until you find the password" because it's objectively bad design. I think unforgiving platforming is never boo-worthy though. Like that final jump was the best part of that level.

Hey Dave have you ever thought about bringing guests on podcasts or on stream and playing different games or even Mario with them? I’d be down to join u even tho I suck ass lol but would be a cool idea idk what do you think ?
I wonder if the second level had someone use comments to try to help those who come later; I mean, if you're using the level viewer, enable comments too in case.
