If I am a teacher in the Philippines and let me say I applied to be an international student to further my career. Do you think I will go back to the Philippines? The answer is a big NO. We are a poor nation and jobs do not pay well there. People who applied under student visa from my country wants to stay here, probably students from India and Pakistan too. The people who handled these policies knew that and I wonder why they allowed this thing to happen. They spent lots of money to come here and the government duped them.

@@aqal5333 Not one would sign up.. Zero.. Canadian $ student debt and Indian rupee salaries = not a chance.. The rich send their kids to school in the US, UK etc. Very few target Canada.. Do you know how poor some of these people are? Most of them borrow money just for the plane ticket.. The only thing stopping hundreds of millions of people from pouring into North America, is the ocean, air plane capacity and affording a plane ticket..

@@jz12390 "No one would sign up" - that'd be great for Canadians. Whether Indians are rich or poor and/or borrow money is not Canada's problem. Opportunities in Canada are for Canadians not for temporary migrants. Once your visa expires in Canada, you must leave.

I agree that the good ones are getting a bad rap based on the bad apples but at the end of the day they need to blend in like every other race that has migrated to Canada for one reason or another… bringing obnoxious cultures and expectations to a host country is unacceptable just like it would be if I brought western culture to the Middle East etc and expected full acceptance.

Because More than 40% of all new comer , all students are from India ..the 60% from the rest of the world. The immigration industry in India is booming because all required documents can be sold ,falsified and forged ..English tests , diplomas , work experience certificates 😊.. just remember India ranked 1st on scams and corruption ..and when they reach Canada ..their primary duty is not to live and integrate into Canadian society but to bring all their families and relatives ..when they got into manager positions ,they hire exclusively Indians with no shame ( Tim hortons ,circle K,7eleven,…)..no matter how many years they spend in Canada,their loyalty goes always to their original country. In one word , most of them are immigrating to Canada only for financial reasons and pure social benefits ..they have no interest at all in the Canadian culture or people of Canada ..folks ,hope it s clear now
