These GT3s aren't as quick as WRC cars but they sure as hell beat them hands down for sheer drama and noise. What a noise! Those guys can drive too. Thumbs up!
also gotta remember that wrc cars are much smaller/narrower/shorter, and are awd, and are turbo as well. the gt3 is a normally aspirated 3.8, plus this is a full body car, whereas wrc cars are basically a shell that resembles the original car
Remember a GT3 is build for racing on tracks. The whole geometry of the car is not optimized for gravel. You can't have as much suspension travel as a WRC + there is no way for an even weight distribution. Also a WRC won't do the best lap times on track, because of their compromise for a "buggy-like" suspension geometry.
Josh Hust Both chassis (WRC and GT3) are based on street cars. The changes and reinforcement on the WRC are much bigger than in GT3 class. If you wanna say "the WRC has almost nothing to do with the base car" that will be right. ;-)
If a WRC car is basically a shell that resembles a road car then a GT3 rally car is basically a shell that resembles a road car. A WRC body shell is taken off straight off the production line and the engine is the same configuration as the production car. You really think they build a chassis that resembles the road car and that you can rally a car without replacing everything that would be destroyed?
Austin Apt at the beginning of my adventure with cars i had an R-R car, i learned how to drive/drive fast/drift in my dad's good old Skoda 120L. These cars are quite hard to drive bc of polar moment, but they are very good toys:) After R-R every next one will be easy. Yes, better turn in, sometimes, but You have to straighten later...
Jarek Nowak you do great great traction going uphill with all that weight over the rear wheels though! closest thing I've driven is a boxster but man you lucked out getting to drive an old school Skoda like that 👌
crazy, I expected some less revvy sound Is there some good simulator game where you can try rallying with Porsche? generally I know its characteristics, and Porsche taught me to love any kind of mid-engined cars, so i'd lke to try it (at a game what is more than a simcade)
Amazing, on one of your bike videos the rider is attacked mercilessly by "experts" for being aggressive and clumsy but here we have sideways and huge footfulls of throttle and the odd poor shift.......not one complaint lol Is it because no one likes motorcyclists? No, we are all sports fans are we not? Awesome video, incredible sounds, unbelievable aggression and I really need a 911, it's required to keep me healthy and sane - really it's a medical requirement....
