Something I learned since my mom has been diagnosed with dementia is that our memory is a tricky bitch. My mom tells the most detailed stories of events from her life but the caveat is they are things that never happened. My bf said his dad, who also had dementia, did the same thing. For context I am their caretaker and I work remote so I am with them 24/7 and very little slips by me. She was telling me (again) the other day about the time my dad requested new cards from their bank and when she went to activate them two women were already using the cards. Yeah my dad has had to request new cards but he has never had to replace the cards from their bank. I keep my eye on their accounts because she falls for all those “you won” scams and for some unknown reason my dad keeps giving her the new card. I walked into her room the other day and she had her card out and God knows what she was doing but so far nothing has come through. There is a special place in hell for people who prey on the elderly.
Years ago, I used to watch QVC when I had insomnia. Laura Geller was on there all the time. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen a video of her, but she is so New York. I feel like the two of you would actually get along really well. She’s definitely different from your average brand creator.
Gotta admit, the Estée Lauder set is gorgeous (c'mon, a hot pink bag - but of course). If I may, please get a mammogram and check yourself on the regular. I just went through breast cancer and mine was the kind where you feel no lump - it was through regular mammography that it was caught. 💜

I'm not a fan of Nightmare before Christmas either, but I bought one of the metallic gel liners. It is gorgeous, and it will sit in the basket with all my other melt gel liners I haven't used.😂😂😂
I WILL SAY I understand the fears ab the ELF duochromes but I ordered them and I haven’t tried them on my eyes yet but from the swatches they are super opaque and didn’t feel crispy or crunchy at all, especially the two more iridescent white based shades !!😊

Last year Colourpop came out with a green, purple, and blue mega palette and it’s SO GOOD. Probably my favorite product I have from Colourpop, not just my favorite palette.
The aurora struck! I remember it's name because it was out of stock before I could get it and I had to wait for weeks and weeks for a restock. It's such a gorgeous palette.

you are gonna love the laura gellar baked bronze/blush, try the spackle spray, it has a nice vanilla scent, and i also recommend the baked brighten and glow foundation
Sorry I'm clearly the only Nightmare Before Christmas fan. I can still remember watching it on Christmas Day, it was one of my brother's presents. I was 15 when it was released and life was good. I bought the entire spectrum set as soon as it released and I will never use the sponge LOL
Actually I love the elf liquid shadows I have a couple and they’re great. I like them because I can just swipe it on pat it down and head out the door to work😅 I’ll have to try these multi chromes out I hope they’re good!
