Timisoara, Romania - When most people think of Romania, they think of the Transylvania region in the center of the country and the big cities like Bucharest and Constanza. However, there is so much more to this beautiful country. After crossing the border from Serbia, we are spending our first day in Romania in the beautiful city of Timisoara, located in the far West of the country. From being the birthplace of the Romanian revolution to the home of some incredible Orthodox churches, Timisoara is a city that is stepped in history. In this video, we explore all that Timisoara has to offer. This might be one of my favorite cities ever!

I have already thanked you that, unlike the Western media, in your videos you spoke nicely of the Serbs and their culture (Novi Sad, Belgrade, Golubac), and you continued to do the same in Timisoara. Even there, you have not bypassed the Serbian cultural heritage. Of course, the other Timisoara stories are also fantastic. With thanks, I wish you all the best. * Question: Do you know any two peoples in the world who have lived side by side for many centuries, without ever going to war with each other? It looks straight out of Austria because its the same architecture style. Its called Vienna Secession and was used all ove Austro Hungary which Timisoara belonged to.

Actually the city was full of tourists this year, since Timisoara is in 2023 the European Capital Of Culture, but yeah overall great video

Great video! Always good to see the my old city from someone else's perspective. Timisoara is this year's European Capital of Culture (2023). It is also the first city in all of continental Europe to have electric powered street lights. So it isn't just the revolution that started in Timisoara but also electricity which lit the streets of Europe.
