It's a shame about Chromecast. It's been bad since day one. Not talking about the speakers but the protocol. Btw, these speakers looks gold in terms of build quality. Kudos for honoring aesthetics.

@@Daggi78 It's difficult to answer correctly. USB-C should be No 1. Airplay No 2 and Chromecast No 3. A blind test will answer for you if there really is a question.

I am a former HT/Audio psycho that moved to a small house and had to live with a TV and a sound bar for the last 10 years. I reviewed gear for Secrets of HT back in the early 2000’s when we built a dedicated theater in a new home. (Triad Gold, B&K, Faroudja, and Electrohome.) Moved in 2007 to the “Fish Shack” in Seattle and suffered the down size. Recently my partner/wife commented that she “really missed the way the theater used to sound” and I got the green light to re create the feeling in the fish shack. I literally stole one of the Adire Audio Tempest subs from the old house when we moved out. ( Q = .707 in a sealed enclosure) that and a pair of Dick Sequerra’s Met 7’s and about 50 of my favorite records are all that is left of a 50 year fascination with audio reproduction. I am really enjoying the research and having worked for a Danish company, Atlas Danmark, for the 3 years that I was not a fisherman. I have a special place in my heart for DK. We have a strong connection still in DK we have a sales guy in Aarhus named Lars Fanth that handles all of our European sales. I am going to see your speakers this week in New Orleans hopefully at Wilson Audio. I am building a new fishing boat near by and saw they are one of two dealers here in North America. Silverback has room correction. KEF does'nt. Silverback has a hub. Cabled equipment must be connected directly to one of the KEFs. Not very practical. Want more fact-based differences?
We have a fine relation! It is not very far from manufacturers of tube amplifiers sharing the passion of tubes ... or manufacturers of DACs sharing the passion of D to A conversion. The relationship is fine.
@@SystemAudioTV I would have assumed that you have a real good relationship, as you share a lot of S/W features (room service/room correction, RAM TWEAKS/ Mastertunings) as well as H/W (hub, back plate of active module). What is the main difference between the A500 and the Legend 5 Silverback in sound? In which case should I prefer one over the other?
@@timberhurlach3427 We have a fine relationship with Buchardt Audio. We introduced digital speakers 3 years ago. They did it last year. We had Master Versions of our speakers in the 90’s. They have Master Tunings today. SA legend 5 silverback is considerably cheaper than A500 but we’ve actually never heard it.

Im very skeptical that a wireless speaker can provide the same sound quality as a dedicated dac and amp. Thats about 25-50 kilos of gear you're doing away with lol
A wireless speaker of this quality will upgrade your sound. The rest is culture and tradition. We are not here to change people that don’t want to listen. Hear the difference.
