What do I think about AI, Dan? Well, as an upcoming 🎨🖌️artist and illustrator, I am worried about it. Very. Specifically about the type of AI which generates images. Want a book cover? Give AI a prompt and BAM! You've got yourself a book cover for free in under a few seconds! Don't like the first option? Well, here's a few more to choose from! I know that AI could help you to generate ideas, to make your workflow easier and quicker, but... the stuff that is AI generated just lacks something... It lacks human emotion, feelings, knowledge (anatomical, especially of hands). There's a lot of ethical questions that AI raises, too. Some companies are using AI to save some buck which is technically stealing as AI uses a mish-mash of artworks by many artists to generate an image. How'd you feel knowing that someone is profiting off of YEARS OF YOUR HARD WORK and you're not going to get not even a single penny for it? Yeah, just the thought of it makes my blood boil! Twitter is full of cases (already) where artists would lose their jobs because their boss decided to implement AI. I've seen many posts by professional creators where they state that they're quitting because they believe that they have become useless, obsolete as they feel like AI is going to take over and replace their job positions eventually... Annnd some cases where a company would pay an "artist" to create a cover for their book to then find out later that it was AI generated... There are a lot of other problems which AI has caused (and will cause in the future). The scary part will come in when the generated work by AI becomes indistinguishable from the work of an actual human being... Where is AI going to take us? I have no idea. We will see...

I was in Stornoway. 1week it was very nice! I got on a boat with my dads car to Stornoway and had lots of adventures there and I met a black cat it was a boy! Lots of purring and cute moments. Today we are going back to Scotland. I was with my sister,mum and dad. We had a very wonderful visit together. ❤
I've also been working with AI image generation and I mean, it works or it doesn't, I use it mostly to generate very specific role play characters and so far I've gotten pretty good results. It struggles with hands and complex anatomy, sometimes fusing hand and hair together or whatever. But recently they've tinkered on the AI I use and now it sometimes doesn't understand and makes some sort of weird mist.

Been watching this man since 2014 and from Dr. Trayaurus to now he is still one of the best RU-vidrs out there. I love how he keeps putting in effort to his videos. I'm learning generative machine learning, mostly with Natural Language Processing which you're most likely familiar with OpenAI's ChatGPT, and I can see why people don't like generative AI. I think it's something important that'll help us a lot in the future. When it comes to image generation, which is not really something I'm interested in but I do still play with it sometimes, I think it's not as bad as people say it is, It can definitely be abused but not really much we can do about that. I do like that websites like DeviantArt have an option to stop showing computer generated images if you don't want it
