In the early day of Marina Bay Sands, you were able to visit the infinity pool if you were not a guest. But you were not allowed to use it. This policy was changed because too many people were visiting the pool. I visited the pool as a visitor and used it as a guest before. Wow, the price has really jumped since I last been there. I think I paid about US$125. That was about 8 years ago.
Yeah, I stayed there for 6 weeks for work about 10 years ago, rate was $220 SGD per night, the building is impressive, but it’s not a good luxury hotel, much better hotels in Singapore for less. It’s very impersonal and they don’t have the same levels of service as the other 5 star hotels.

I agree with you the hotel room is not as luxurious as it once was, hence the entire hotel is being refurbished and it looks amazing. Definitely reflecting the value of a S$700/night stay.
Those scenic time lapse are amazing! Can’t imagine the time you guys put in to get them. On video it maybe a couple second, but it ain’t easy to get your ass up, get to the locations in order to ge the shots lol!

As far as I know anything that is considered as a "bisyo" (bad habit) in Singapore, such as drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking, is more expensive than any other countries. I think this is how they control the spread of it. Also gambling in Singapore is so expensive, I think if you're a local or permanent resident there you need to pay 100 SGD to play.
Awesome video like always 🤙🏽 Not only the biggest club in Singapore is at Marina Bay Sands, that club itself has its own indoor mini ferris wheel and a slide. We stayed there in 2019 right before covid and we had a blast. The pool experience is hands down the best though.

Nice video, I lived in Singapore for many years so it brought back many good memories for me. People pay a lot of money to go in that pool - it must surely be the most famous swimming pool in the world !
GREAT QUALITY video/vlog! One question, I was visiting the casino six years ago wearing nice jeans with shoes and a sports jacket. I wasn’t allowed in because jeans weren’t allowed. Has that policy changed? Did you go into the casino?

Nice vid! Def prefer a $3 beer relaxing at the beach over $15 rooftop poolside. I’m too cheap to go to Singapore.😂 I actually hardly eat out on Vancouver Island, prefer to save my $ for affordable food travelling. Can’t wait for KL, Koh Lipe + Gili T this winter 😎 Enjoy your travels!!

We are planning a trip to Thailand and contemplating spending time in Singapore and at least one night at Marina Bay just to see and experience the infinity pool :) Question - We do not want to see ALL of Singapore, just local attractions near Marina Bay for a couple nights. How many nights would you say is adequate to see around the city?

If I ever visit Singapore, I will stay in MBS for maybe 2 nights, just to cross that off my list. I know it’s expensive, but damn I want to say I did it.

Love your video! Question: When you went to the pool, I saw you tapped the room card on a device. Were there any hotel security personnel there to check if you were bringing a guest?
Its Possible to go Inside as guest for Dinner or Shopping or Casino if you aren't guest there..? Sombody know the Price as no guest to go to the Infinity Pool and not use the Pool.. Like i hear in Video its not Possible anymore also for Payments right..?
The old rooms are OK. Very basic and does not give the lux vibe where the newly renovated rooms at tower 2 are so so much better and lux with a bidet too. Stayed at MBS staycation like 7 times. You can also order food from food panda or grab food and deliver to the lift lobby. My girl friend and I used to do that. Way cheaper and nicer food.
I don't know why but to me all this rich eastern countries look the same. Looking at this gives me same vibe as Dubai like it doesn't matter who copied who but in the end its all the same. Infinity pool same, big buildings same, huge gardens, big beaches, sea side etc. It's like when you go to one destination its one and done. Singapore is so freaking expensive too so might as well add little bit money and go somewhere natural like switzerland or something. I was a kid when we went to singapore and recently we went to dubai both looked the same to me like the experience i mean. From now on only going to natural places instead of man made. Waste of money in my opinion.
