First time I played bfme1, I thought defending Minas Tirith would be hard. I was wrong. Attacking it as Mordor was WAY harder than defending it 😆

Ah yes, mission objective: Grond must survive the rain of sniper trebuchets whose flaming stones will turn right angles in order to hit it.

Ironically, the easiest way to take Minas Tirith is just to park four catapults on the far right corner and by pass the main gate :D

In bfme 1 campaign there was Grond. Would like to see the Mighty Grond in this mission too :D

grond wasnt really needed, the normal rams 2 shot the gate :( But yeah, I would also like to see grond in this one

Maybe the creators of this map can replace these 2 rams to 1 Grond) or make the gate little bit stronger) Otherwise Helm's deep was way too harder than Minas-tirith like it was in bfme 1. So Grond could be a challenge 🤔 :D

@@some1207 Ah yes, bfme1 helm's deep. Where you spammed elves because they were literally the best option, abandoned the low ground as soon as the first ladder reached the wall without dying, then plonked your entire force of moderately levelled elven archers with fire arrows behind the 3 melee heroes next to the well you could build beside the choke point. Good days. Edit: Oh, and left Legolas farming xp on the top of the wall where he could outrange everything.

I remember playing a custom map of Minas tirith. It was an 8 player map with all 8 rings of the castle and I really loved it, you should do that map with the siege

Hey I just discovered your channel and now I want to play all this maps so bad!!! Thing is, I don't have the game and I can't find a version that runs or even I can install since the last I did have (I have the originals which I used back in the day, though my actual pc has no disc player so they are just a piece of collection nowadays haha) so I just want to know how to get to this if possible. Thank you for your time and for all the amazing content!!

@Hellhammer If you have the physical box, and with it the booklet, then you have a valid key and you are not pirating it. Just look up moddb bfme 2, or really just play bfme 2 2024 should bring it up

For their whole 30 second lifespan. Never understood why the second best trained and the force with the most actual combat experience among men were also the second-third worst melee units in the series before the most basic orcs, and actual untrained peasants.

upgrading the initial archers would have been smart and buying all upgrades after the last upgrade at Market place ;-)

True but the upgrade on the market place only reduces the cost of armor and blades, archers dont get any befenits from that

I really like playing custom sieges like this but they are always way too easy, I wish that by the time the army of the dead come you are a second away from dying
