Bravo for introducing this topic. Our young people, everyone, needs to understand and to consider this. Im 75 yr old woman and I am very saddened by what our society is doing to the minds of our young people. Thank you ❤

Hi Kay, I'm not opposed to plastic surgery, it can have amazing results but most of the time is overdone and in my opinion can be addictive and make body dismorphia worst. I don't use beauty filters and I don't like to look at "edited" human faces, plastic blurred skin, virtual make-up, etc...to me they became avatars and ruin the connection I might have with the content creator. I highly appreciate HD videos that give me an "analog" feeling of the person I'm listening and looking at.

You’re helpful to so many ladies, Kay! And 47 is so young. Please enjoy this beautiful stage in your life! The next one is lovely, too. Youth is a phase! Aging is a gift.

Well done Kay for seeing this and being so honest. I am no beauty queen and try to embrace my differences. I have been called ugly to my face twice in my life and most people call me quirky and a bit eccentric. I will take that over beauty. It would be nice for me to have full lips, a jawline and cheek bones. But all of this is crazy. love who you are sweetheart. I would never of put you at 47 I thought you were in your late thirties. If you ever see my videos you will see they are raw and just as they come. Love xx

Amen. I don't use filters. I really never have tried except the funny ones on Snapchat. I know many people do use them and I was blown away at how they looked in real life. I just don't want that for me. I have been through a lot in life and earned every line on my face haha😂 Charmaine 💜

Oh yes... I've wished (and sometimes still do) that I looked like my mirror image, which is not what I look like in reality because my features aren't at all symmetrical. I often don't recognise myself in pictures if they're not selfies, and it's such a shock to think that's how other people see me. Talk about being in competition with a version yourself! Wow Kay! What an important topic! Thanks so much for bringing it out in the open. I’m 69 and am very young at heart! I have to admit that I am having a very difficult time with how I look, particularly my face, as I age. Wearing wigs has helped me so much, and you, personally have helped me out a lot with your advice on your RU-vid channel. Thanks for everything you do for all of us!

I despise the filters. Have never used any of them and gave no desire to.

I don't do photos. Period. I am too private, too anxious etc. I just don't want to mess with my head. I admire and appreciate those who put themselves out there. I benefit . Thank yoy❤I am a nurse and have had to, quite bluntly, deal with dying and deceased people. Our physical bodies are not us. Your soul and your energy is " you". People can inject as much stuff in their faces etc as they want but we all, if we are lucky, age into 80s , 90s, and 100s . At that time, being alive and with loved and loving people and animals...having joy ... those things matter. Not that subjectively perceived imperfection.

I prefer seeing the real person. I love the beauty of the differences we have as humans. I love your personality and the twinkle in your eyes. I love your smile. I never really even thought about whether you have the skin of a 20-year-old or not. I agree with someone else when they said enjoy where you are right now. Later in life, you will regret, wasting the beautiful years you have right now.🥰

I was wondering if you are younger than me ( I'm almost 41 ) and I can't really believe that you are 47! The funny thing is that what you see as your imperfections ( you mentioned your lips and nose ) are only imperfections to you. I've never noticed your lips or nose...And I've been watching your videos for quite a while. What I mean is that other people don't see things that we think are not looking good. It's only in our heards. We need to be more gentle to ourselves. Whould we say "you need botox and a face lift" to our friend? Why do we say it to ourselves? Btw, I honestly think that you are a very beautiful woman! Your figure....Your style... You are a very classy one too ❤
