This whole game sounds like the kind of thing I would make up as a kid

If this was made by EA/Disney, we'd probably be a lot more critical of this. Not gonna lie. This is fanfiction at its best...and I love it

These what-if scenarios are literally "playing with your rich cousin's giant bin of Star Wars LEGO" level, just barely coherent enough to make sense for an 8 year old, but not giving a shit about canon or logic AND I LOVE IT.

Surprisingly most games start off as crazy as this. The thought process is to throw as much crap at the wall as possible, see what sticks, and then refine the idea over the course of years to something that is more recognizable. Just look at the process of how Infamous was made

So, essentially, the premise is, "what if a dev saw ONLY Attack of the Clones, and then wrote a script after taking enough cocaine to kill the 80s?"

Doku was trying to destroy ALL of the clones and the condition of Jango's contract was that he got to keep one clone as his son to raise, the son being bolba fett. He likely confronted Doku to save his son, being literally the only thing he's ever loved or cared for outside of that sweet mando money.

This game sounds so much like a fever dream, and a kid with star wars toys just making the story up as they go. And it sounds awesome, probably could be made now since the technology exists for it

For the record the guy who came up with the rainbow trooper was Darrel Rodriguize's (The President of Lucasarts at the time) Kid and the concept art was made by special request of Rodriguiz for his kid

Honestly id totally play this, it reminds me of the dlc missions from force unleashed and the old infinities comics. The what ifs would've probably been toned down as development progressed, but it still would've been pretty cool

They actually did conceptualize a more in depth combat system for lightsabers for Battlefront 3. There were high attacks, low attacks, etc. There are a couple concept pages on it.

By the sound of these “what if’s” missions this sounds like the developers were just like “yo! It be cool if this happened?!” And they were never told no.

I'd love a "What If" star wars game/series/film. What if anakin never turned to the darkside? What if PALPATINE was a Jedi? What if Padmé was a separatist spy? I mean there's a lot of what ifs, i think an animated or live action series would be awesome, like 30 minute episodes and every episode is in an alternate universe

Try PSP version of the force unleashed does actually have some "what if" scenarios. And the cutscenes are pretty surreal.

I love how nuts some of the ideas are. I like the idea of a Star Wars what if series or game where you can see all sorts of completely insane scenarios and versions of characters that we'd NEVER get to see anywhere else

I think the Kamino invasion was meant to take place if obi wan didn’t find out about the planet and jango was never pressured to leave to genosis. So he stayed on kamino and eventually things play out similar to the tv show where the CIS find kamino and attack it

I like the idea of "what-if" scenarios in a Battlefront game. Very reminiscent of Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds' "what-if" scenarios.

I personally have always loved the idea of reversal of classic characters. The idea of sith versions of the heroes and light side versions of the villains is a super compelling spin-off concept to me. That being said the story would still have to track and this definitely... Didn't...

Dark Mace Windu is one of the single most terrifying and badass things I have ever seen, I would actually love to see the idea used in a future project of Star Wars, I mean imagine

Battlefront 3 is what the new Battlefront SHOULD HAVE BEEN. The what if scenarios sound awesome. Playing as the evil side is pretty cool. The Force Unleashed had awesome what if scenarios

What we need in Battlefront 4: 1: Ashoka Tana, Mace Windu, Qui Gon-Jinn, Jango Fett, Cal Kentish, Padme Organa and Ventures. 2: Inquisitors! 3: Mustafar! 4: Facial Expressions with characters, ( For example if Anakin slays somebody his facial expression would be angry. ) 5: Attack Of the Clone Appearance for Obi Wan And Anakin. Also Anakin Hooded. 6: Dagobah! 7: More Easter Eggs! 8: Two Campaigns, First one is set after the second Death Stars destruction and you control the Mandolorian. Second one is set after the death of Kylo Ren, you control a smuggler. So that’s my ideas for battlefront 4, I hope you like my ideas! May the force be with u. :)

The reason there are some things that don't seem to make sense on the what if scenarios it's because these missions are follow-ups to the dark side outcomes of the canon scenarios: - In Dark Side Geonosis, Jango doesn't die so he's present on Kamino during the clone wars. - In Dark Side Coruscant, Obi wan dies and the invisible hand crashes on the Jedi temple, killing most of the Jedi there, explaining why Vader is not burned and the absence of Jedi despite Windu being alive. - In Dark Side Yavin, Luke is killed and the Death Star prevails, explaining it's presence on Dagobah and Leia being trained as a Jedi instead. - In Dark side Hoth, Leia is captured and brainwashed by Vader to become his apprentice, explaining Dark Leia's presence on bespin - In Dark Side Endor, Luke is turned to the dark side but his father returns to the light, managing to escape to reunite with his daughter, leading to the battle on Tatooine.
