Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out this video! Were you able to pick up a glow in the dark pocket? If so, what do you think of it! And if you haven't already, be sure to like and subscribe!
I tried and failed for the glow and transparent pockets the captcha was not working correctly it was so frustrating, then I tried for the silver classic color, I had to run to my bank because after I solved captchas finally I had foreign transactions blocked. So I had to settle for spice orange right before they sold out. Then was just pink and yellow left. I definitely was not paying for a pink or yellow.
I grabbed one glow last time around and this time i grabbed one smoke so others had a chance of getting some, this time it was about 10 minutes before everything sold out. Was contemplating between smoke and purple but ended up going with smoke 😊 awesome video showing the glow ❤
nope... on a waiting list now as different regions have different allotments i guess... not so interested in paying 800 dollars including import fees on amazon when already owning the original systems anyway... surely it will end up easier and cheaper soon enough@@matt_HM
Am so upset I couldn’t get my hands on the new analogue pocket limited edition. I had a stupid error problem with the human robot. 😭😭😭omg wdh why can’t I get my hands on one. In 5min everything was gone
@@matt_HM did you manage to get your hands on one. I had no choose to buy it of from eBay and the seller had pre installed games 3k games pre installed and took the offer paid £350 but am happy lmaoo
For it's price, damn this device is vastly limited asf. It's nowhere near as ergonomic and capable as the devices like the odin 2, anbernic rg405v, 405m, rg556, retroid pocket 3 plus and 4 pro.
Most ppl get screwed over by analogue, I did as well. Tried purchasing every limited edition and failed. Finally worked in the spice orange. The captchas wouldn't work. I messaged support and told them I never got the spice orange and they shipped a replacement immediately, and I traded it for a sealed glow in the dark pocket.
I’m a fan of the product, it’s one of the most stunning handhelds I’ve ever experienced. I prefer the black one, but I can appreciate how well they delivered on that finish/plastic blend. Better than I expected really. Considering it took me over a year to get my regular preorder delivered to me, I would not expect to get the limited edition version anytime this decade. Maybe by then the star trek replicators will already be a household appliance so I’d just materialize my own. 😂
Haha, how did you feel when making this and having the translucent editions announced? I love the products but the way they roll these out really sucks. I would REALLY prefer they focus on firmware and having the normal versions readily available before they start these limited runs. Feels disingenuous
Again, fantastic video, really starting find your own voice in the style, I dig that. Quick question though, on your desk there; is that a paper lantern over an aperture light? That’s a quality diffused glow you got going on. NICE!
Thanks!! Glad you liked the video! I was actually considering trying something very different for future videos lol… we’ll see! And yeah that’s an Aouture B7c bulb. It’s not paper though, it’s actually a lamp from ikea lol
Ye it's awesome to see 22 years old tech going for higher than it did back then. $99,99 22 years ago is equal to $175 today. That shit sells for $250 and the regular $220. ._."
@@dorayaki5494 The FPGAs in there aren't 22 year old tech. There's no way you would also have a NES, SNES, Genesis, Arcade games etc on your Gameboy 22 years ago, cores that behave like the real hardware thanks to FPGA tech.
I don't own any Analogue Product, not than I'm against it, just than as this moment I don't think I need one of those. The Glow edition of the Pocket is a nice limited / collector version of it. What next for Analogue, well their Duo is in production. This PC Engine / TurboGrafx16 is going to be a great way to play those game, especially for the price of 250$, so less than a real Turbo Duo or the Combo TurboGrafx + CD extension, both in good condition. The real issue with the Duo is the lack of Open FPGA, with how the MISTer core work with CD base console like Sega/Mega CD and PlayStation, port of those core with add of CD Support sound amazing on the paper.
I wonder if they are planning additional disc based consoles at some point? Can’t imagine why they wouldn’t include open FPGA on all new and future consoles.
@@matt_HM I don't know too. Maybe their FPGA is not powerfull enough to support those core ? Or maybe they're going to produce and release other CD based console with FPGA tech ?
@@SIPEROTH I didn’t say that. I just said it isn’t going to have openFPGA. The DUO may get jailbroken, I expect it to and be able to play anything pre PS1 fairly easily, but openFPGA can’t just get added to to something that doesn’t have the hardware. If openFPGA was included I would have faith Saturn and PS1 cores would’ve been ported very easily but I think Analogue will make an alternative. I think an openFPGA DreamCast is most likely as that would keep Sony off their backs compared to them advertising an FPGA ps1/ps2. I think the version of the Cyclone the Pocket has is 5+ years old by now so I can see the “Analogue Dream” getting a newer chip.
