After having stayed in various locations all over Dubai, over the past 2 years, we have decided which one is our favorite. At least so far.
Let us show you around City Walk, developed by Meraas. Just a stones throw away from Dubai Downtown and the Jumeirah beach. We will show you the developments, the sites, and explain why it is our number 1 spot in the city.

Probably best place . Near to public beaches, 5 min dubai mall and Jumairah area also has its charm.

Despite being more conservative Abu Dhabi is way better in my opinion as it’s walkable and well planed. it will probably surpass Dubai in the next 20 years.

We agree, our feeling is that Abu Dhabi have planned it better for pedestrians. We have only stayed there a couple of days but next time we are planning to stay there for a month to get a better understanding how it's to live there 🙂

Love your Dubai content. Do you stay in hotels/airbnb or have you rented long term apartments in your 2 years in Dubai?

You are too kind ❤️ We have preferred to do monthly stays in hotels in favour of renting or airbnbing. We have found that the flexibility and value for money in hotels has been better. It is also nice to get your room cleaned every day 😊 Check from 8:43 in the video where we talk about monthly stays at Rove Hotels

Thank you so much! We actually left Dubai just a few days before the rain. However, our friends told us that most of the places has dried up and looks the same as before 🙂 It hasn’t affected us at all.

The area is actually called City Walk 😊 It is developed by Meraas.

I am sure you agree Stockholm is way more beautiful... This is only streets, malls and restaurants looks super boring

Difficult to compare the two. We love Stockholm and definitely recommend everyone to visit, especially in the summer months. It has a long history with charming architecture which is difficult to compete with. Dubai is completely different and has a lot of upside. It is modern, things work, great for networking, the sun and beaches are also a big plus 😊 Also, from our experience, people are very welcoming and friendly.
