they delayed it cause his midscope actually made him 5x worse. They took the only thing that made him very different (sharing buffs) and made it baseline for all jngls. They gotta give him something special that keeps his identity while making him GOOD bro is already handicapped by being an enchanter-jungler Aight after watching the whole thing, he's just 10x better in support. no point in using him in jng when everyone does his job but better tbhhh. Like you can make the case that he is better in jng because there's better supports but like, ibr, a carry jng is infinitely better than what ivern provides.
@@johnnybravous thing is, he's not an enchanter by design. that's why devs are having a hard time with his midscope cuz they want to make him and enchanter but that's not his subclass at all. he's called a catcher if you don't know. subclasses are roles used by designers and rioters.
@@ooshoowo It really isn't because of that, they're having a hard time balancing it because Ivern simply had too much shoved in his kit and unconditional, so they had to draw power budget from the passive. Ivern is a catcher only because he HAS to have a good gank, otherwise he wouldn't be a jungler. Ignoring Ivern's Q, he pretty much has an enchanter's kit.
@@enoshrs they actually really tried to balance him to be a viable lane enchanter which is just wrong. and no he's a catcher not because he's a jungler. with your logic, morg, thresh, rakan are also enchanters which they are not. ivern is a catcher that capitilizes an enemies mistake and overextension. hence having good gank potential. they should keep that in mind with the direction they are planning with him
@@ooshoowo Iven has identities from both catcher and enchanters Q and R takes care of the Catching aspect while W, E and Passive took care of the Enchanting aspect. Ivern can be played as an enchanter, Morgana and Rakan can't.
