Not really an avoidable problem though, it's basically a cone-shaped dress so any dynamic pose (eg dancing) is going to have one angle where that's the view.

Seriously, I love Miku but I'm trying to keep the number of Mikus I have fewer than half my collection. I've been trying to find a good 1:7 or 1:8 Rin for years.

@@yurisei6732 Same here. I already have 4 Miku figures(as of this reply), since I had to purge 3 of them, due to having less space. But not being able to find a good Rin, Len or Luka prize figure, is frustrating me to no end! Like, they couldn't release a new racing Rin, Len or Luka figure? Or even a kimono or swimsuit one? Seriously?!

@@nine_tails137 It's not just prize figures, here in the UK you can't get any Rins except nendoroids, and even on the websites of Japanese-based exporter companies the pickings are shockingly slim. I think basically we need CFM to release an updated Kagamine voicebank, get hype for the characters up a bit.

I think Miku figures are so popular because she isn't a set character from any franchise with a specific personality, just a design (and voice) that can be built off of.

Clearly it comes from the popularity of her songs; Zenbonsakura, world is mine, viva happy, melt, love is war, sand planet, popipo, vampire, ghost rule, slow motion, love ward; even when the song that made her viral 10 years ago wasn’t even her’s (ievan polka) XD she will be 16 years old this year, but artist/producers (pinocchio-p, deco*27, wowaka, Kira, kanaria, mitchie-m) still use her as their principal voice & a lot of people see her as the image or first introduction of the world of voice synthesizers like utau, Vocaloid or cevio, that introduces a looooot of other voices (Kagamine, Kafu, IA, Gumi, Maika, Una) & a loooot of songs (Echo, King, Phony, Goodbye declaration, roki, venom) So she’s a medium for creating XD every single day new songs are uploaded to niconico & yt, plus every year there’s Vocaloid concerts on the whole world; simply she’s the face of a phenomenon that constantly makes itself relevant I would say

For me, I'm still salty none of the other Vocaloids get the amount of attention Miku does. Seriously, we get new Hastune Miku figures every goddamn year, and yet barely any Rin, Len, Luka, Maiko, Kaito, and Gumi figures.

Plus I tried pre-ordering the Rin and Len Stylish figures a few years ago, but they got cancelled due to the pandemic. The only other Vocaloid figures I could find, were Rin and Luka Desktop Singer. Which are only about 8cm tall. It's ridiculous how over-saturated Miku is compared to the other Vocaloids.
