For end of vid Q: I think the DH is fine, gives more guys roles in the MLB. I wouldnt even worry about potential on pitchers bc of how this past season went with a historically low league batting average.
Awesome games AJ. I feel good about the National League adding a DH. This is the first time in history the National League added a DH so I like it and let’s hope my METS do good this year.
Universal DH I think is great for the game. We wanna see the pitchers pitch and the hitters hit so I think that’s how it should have been all along… but it is cool watching pitchers hit a dinger every now and then
Tbh, idk how I feel either about the whole universal DH thing. It adds more strategy in baseball without it, but I understand that people want to see more runs and hits when they go to games so I understand it. Creates a little more of an even playing field in the playoffs.
i honestly think the DH takes away from strategic pitching, but i feel like im in the minority on that. Plus I love seeing the pitchers that can actually hit at the plate. like Degrom or Waino
In your facecam it looks like you have a control freak on the pitching stick but not the hitting one. Am I wrong about that or not? If I’m right pls explain why I’m really curious
I’m not super into universal DH. As someone who pitched growing up I was always taught to learn both sides of the game in order to be an asset no matter where I was needed. Perhaps I’m just a traditionalist I just feel like players should be able to do both adequately enough to contribute.
Hey littleman, you’re one of the best players on this game I’ve ever seen, but I was just think about your lineup. Of course it’s all about personal preference, but I’d switch Jimmie and Soto or Soto and chipper simply so that chipper is protected by a righty just in case somebody with a lefty might rather just stick with chipper because they’d have to face a righty anyway rather than intentionally walking him to get to the lefty-lefty matchup with Soto.
@@crazygolf4896 simply, put a righty behind chipper because the opponent won’t walk chipper to get to another righty if there’s a lefty on the mound. If he keeps Soto behind chipper then the opponent will likely walk chipper to get to Soto if they’re using (for example) Aaron loup
