In this video I will guide you through this beautiful Makeover with a buffet I found off of Facebook Marketplace. I really wanted to make this piece the center of attention in any room. This is probably one of my greatest chalk paint furniture makeovers! I really hope you enjoy this video.

I am so delighted to say that I now own this extraordinary piece of furniture. It is DEFINITELY the center of attention in my home! Also, I was privileged to be able to attend Annie Sloan's Big Paint Weekend in New Orleans this past weekend. It was such a pleasure to meet Kacha in person. She and Carlos are truly two of the nicest people I have ever met. I learned so much from attending this event from all the artists who were there. If you ever get the chance to go to one of these events, do yourself a favor and go! Well, I'm going back to admire my beautiful buffet some more!

I found out about this event while watching one of Kacha's you tube videos. The VIP tickets were around 550.00. Worth every penny!

Okay. To be honest, I was cringing when I saw that amazing piece of furniture about to be painted! But, in the phenomenally capable artist's hands (that would be you Kacha) I was blown away by the transformation! It is so unconventional and so so so beautiful! A real eye catcher! I have to tell you that it was just over a year ago that I found your channel on RU-vid and I have watched all of your videos. You inspired me to pick up a brush and start my own creative journey. Last fall we relocated and I am anxiously waiting until I have room to set up a work area and get started. We are totally redoing a sad, neglected house...but I hope by December I will have the work space I need. Keep up the good work.

You scored finding that piece! It is stunning. What you did to it - WOWEEEE! Drama Queen Gold Leaf Party 🎉. Kacha...I’m so glad you explained how long the gold leaf took you. I love the look of it, but I get so frustrated with it. My fingers get sticky. The gold leaf paper falls apart as soon as I touch it. I’m like a kindergartener during craft time. This little diva is stunningly gorgeous. When you started dry brushing the black I thought "what is she doing? 😱" but, once it was finished, I realised you really are a genius. The black really finishes it off and gives it substance.

Oh. My. God!!! You are so bold. I never would have dared to paint that piece in that color. It's just extraordinary. That's why I love you. I've painted furniture now and then, and even the entire interior of a renovated house that I did the plans for. But my style has always been farmhouse. I want to start painting furniture to sell, but probably should begin modestly. However, I have fallen in love with your elegant style. I'll practice on something or other.
