Fun fact, because the anime adapts all routes of the VN, they had to change some stuff around to make the storyline work. One change is Okabe donning his Kyouma persona once more. It actually happens twice in the VN, and the anime kinda combines both of them. In the VN, it wasn't Daru that punches some sense into Okabe, it was Suzuha. The anime made it Daru because the 2nd scene is in a different route where Kyouma reawakens after the part where the Time Machine is blown up by the missle. Okabe sneaks back to the lab, tells Daru and Maho what happened, and then decides he needs to get his ass in gear to fix things. Essentially he's back where he was last game in this particular scene, and he needs to save Mayuri, but "Okabe" can't save her, only "Kyouma" can. So he becomes Kyouma again. The anime takes most of the story from the first route where Suzuha knocks some sense into him, the 30+ years of time leaping, etcetera and applies it to the story of the 2nd route to make the story more or less more streamlined. I recall there being some debate over what version of events is better between the VN and the Anime, and while I don't really care much for which one did whatever better, I do believe that the anime did a damn good job of adapting the visual novel. It wasn't easy to do, because literally every route in the VN gives Okabe a crucial piece of information needed for him to reach the true ending, and adapting that kinda story is something I'm sure gave the studio no shortage of headaces. So, in light of their accomplishment, I can't really bring myself to complain about the anime. People forget this is a time travel story. Meaning the fact that the first anime and visual novel were as well put together as they were was a f****** miracle. So yeah I can't really bring myself to be critical of the sequels, because having a story that's a bit hard to keep track of is really par for the course with the genre.😂

You know what helps kids have a better life? Not having to see their father's ass or have him embarrassing them by wearing rags. If you don't want to get decent clothes for yourself, do it for your family.
