INT. LIAM'S LIVING ROOM - DAY Liam, a young man in his early twenties, is sitting in front of his computer, his eyes glued to the screen as he watches a Super Mario 64 speedrun video. He takes a deep breath and cracks his knuckles before picking up his controller. LIAM (to himself) This is it. Today's the day. He starts the game and begins his speedrun attempt. As he makes his way through the levels, he can feel his heart racing with excitement. He knows he's doing well, but he's also aware that the world record is incredibly difficult to beat. LIAM (to himself) Come on, Liam. You can do this. Minutes pass and Liam continues to play flawlessly. His movements are precise, his jumps are timed perfectly, and he's taking risks that could pay off big. As he enters the final level, he knows that he has a chance to beat the world record. LIAM (to himself) Don't mess up now. You've got this. He takes a deep breath and focuses all of his attention on the game. His fingers move quickly over the controller as he navigates Mario through the final obstacle course. And then, with a final jump, he lands on the flagpole, completing the game. LIAM (shouting) Yes! Yes! I did it! He checks his time and sees that he has indeed beaten the world record. LIAM (on the verge of tears) I can't believe it. I actually did it. He jumps out of his seat and runs around the room, shouting and celebrating. He grabs his phone and calls his best friend. LIAM (excitedly) Dude, I did it! I beat the Super Mario 64 world record! BEST FRIEND (on the phone) No way! That's amazing, Liam! Congratulations! Liam hangs up the phone and looks around his living room, still in disbelief. He knows that this achievement will go down in history, and he's proud to have accomplished it. LIAM (to himself) I did it. I really did it. As he takes a deep breath and sits back down in front of his computer, Liam knows that he's achieved something incredible. And he can't wait to see what the future holds.
