@@AnAncient76 on the environment packs some do but most buildings are empty for example the industrial park is completely empty all building are just hollow but the bundle does have separate interior packs
perfect thanks to you for the info. bought straight away. You never know when you might need it. Wish there were also such package alternatives for animations.
The Feudal Japan assets is doesn't have a gate, only walls surrounding the town, which means to say any game activities is stuck within the town, cannot roam outside.
@@Clydiie I know the map is just an example, and the assets are really good. I'm actually using some of them for my project. I probably should've said "town gate" or "gateway" instead. What I'm saying is, every town or village surrounded by a barrier has "town gate". The Great Wall in China has a "city gate". Most Military Camps asset packs comes with a fence and a "gate". Even Medival camps megapacks has a gate. The Feudal Japan Megapack only has a moon gate, but moon gates aren't meant to be used as town/city gates. And since it doesn't have a door, that doorless moon gate is traditionally found in town gardens or inside a garden of a residential space. Try Googling "Japanese town wall" images and you'll see that populated area enclosed by a wall has that one specific gate, which the Feudal Japan Megapack does not have. Get it? 😅 If your project is a level-based, then it's ok since you don't need the character to go outside and every gameplay can just take place inside the town itself. My project is open-world so on my side, this specific gate I'm refering to is neccessary to mimic real-world concept. In my "Three Kings and a Princess" video, around 1:20, you can see a tall structure along the Feudal Japan walls in the background. That's the "town gate". 😁
Hmm. I wonder what happens to my reply. Suddenly it disappear. Nevermind, I just rewrite then in consise form. I'm not talking about the demo map. I'm talking about the gate. In real-life concept, any populated area surrounded by barries has a gate or "gateway" that seperates the inside from the outside world. In Medieval packs there's palisades and a gate. In Military packs there's fences and a gate. However, in Feudal Japan pack, there's only walls. The only gate in this pack is the "Moon Gate", but this gate is never use in any real-world concept for entrances to a town. And since it's doorless, the moon gate in the pack is traditionally found (in the real world) at public garden or a residential garden. Therefore, assuming your project is open-world like mine, you need the missing gateway to make everything whole. But if your project is level-based with level selection, then the gate is not necessary since all gameplay will just occured within the enclose space. If you looked at my video "Three Kings and a Princess", at one section you can see a stretch of Feudal Japan walls in the background, with a tall structure, which is a custom-made gateway.
the title of the pack says for unity and unreal, but every item i look at it only has details about which unreal engine version it is for. how are these usable in unity?
@buzzdx if you watched the video you would see I gave out the code for the unity assets. At the bottom of the page you will see the unity assets. Unity only needs one code to redeem everything while unreal needs multiple.
@@Clydiie yeah it does in the title, but if you click on each item it just says unreal engine versions or nothing, no mention of unity there. it's not that i doubt it, as i said it just confused me a bit and i was wondering if there's like a button somewhere to switch it to unity or however that will work then.
@@buzzdx unity has its own code and its a single code to redeem the assets but its not all the assets only some stop the video here - 1:03 and it tells you there which assets are for unity you can also use that code if someone else hasnt used it yet to redeem the assets
@@michaelchristine1965 www.meshingun-studio.com/faq Check out their website for qustions but basically once you buy the asset you can use them for commercial use all the links are in the description if you want to buy the bundle from humble bundle In their frequent asked questions Under licence - You are allowed to unlimitedly use our 3D assets / tools in your projects such as animations, movies and games for commercial purposes. They are just Unreal Marketplace and Unity Asset store keys and you'll have to follow Unreal & Unity TOS and both are meant for developers. So, buy without worries.

@@ClydiieI know it came with props, I'm more wondering if we can enter the buildings, from what I've seen it looks like you can't even enter them and there meant more for background buildings. The gothic set has an exterior and interior pack, but also from what I've seen they wouldn't really line up or make sense in a video game, shows a beautiful stain glass in some semi circle thing in the interior, and then the exterior pack has nothing that would work with that(could very well be wrong about that). Interiors look mint and new, exterior looks more like destroyed ruins. Just seems like a pack meant for making scenes, not games. was hyped when I saw the pack, was less hyped when I looked into it. But I'm a newb, maybe I need to see someone turn these into functioning game environments. Obviously great value in the pack regardless, hard to not buy all these environment bundles lol
