Ryan has had a lot of commenters trying to one guy him. I'd just like to say that I am impressed at the work Ryan put into his physical health prior to this race/content release, and generally with his approach to streaming/having an editor to handle putting out videos. It has been amazing to see the gifted subs and support to help offset you operating this channel at a loss, and bringing this content to everyone for free. The First Lich King well earned, keep up the good work, can't wait to see the return of Let's Chat.
Man, I haven't no-lifed RS in over a decade due to work and everything. Watching these videos you've been putting on Necro is really making me want to get back to it. Congrats on the title!!
Thank god he mentioned the whole gear being dropped in pieces thing. As a upper-mid or low-high level player I feel absolute gatekeeped out of end game stuff simply because I cannot grind things like that until I get every piece. I just don't have the time for it anymore, but also I don't want to. I have so many pieces of stuff sitting in my bank that will probably take me years to see them combined into a full weapon. Drops should be the full gear! It feels better that way and a lot more enjoyable for the rest of us imho.
"Everyone in the game has the right to the best equipment" is kind of a weird way to phrase it, but I 100% agree that realistic drop rates of WHOLE items is better than the stupidly low rates on fragments of shit
Insane achievement Ryan!! So glad I got to stop by the streams and see the progress live. You can really hear your voice getting more and more burned out over the course of these videos 😂 goes to show how hard you've been working
"There had to have been some late nights" I am no dev, but I can confirm this! Couldn't sleep a few days ago so I was on mobile at 2:30 am game time and there was suddenly a game message in chat saying that a hotfix for some server stability issues just went live. So someone was busy hotfixing issues at 2:30am, and that deserves praise! Not just the fact that the release was as polished as it was, but that they've been so open, communicative and around the clock with (hot)fixes has been an amazing experience! Hats off to everyone that has worked and is still working on this now!!
So glad you managed to get this first. 99 mishap was SO unfortunate. Your HC and Necro content has been top tier, loving everu second of it. Keep it up, (Lich) King
Gratz on the achievement of being the first to get the Lich King title and 3rd to get 99 in Necro, Ryan! Totally deserved, love your videos and your positive attitude towards the game. It's a much needed break from the toxicity from "elite pvmers" you see some places. Will try my best to catch your stream later today to see the experimenting with BiS Necro, keep on being awesome and my best wishes to you and your editor.
I have not enjoyed combat this much ever. I absolutely loved how they did Necromancy, combining a skilling skill with a combat skill and somehow making both fun is an incredible accomplishment. Hats off to Jagex for an amazing release of this skill.
Congrats on the title. I might actually try the boss out when I get there. I’m just a casual skiller/slayer/pvm player. The thought of trying to learn something like Telos and Zuk over and over again, I just can’t mentally do that. Bosses like original GWD, QBD, Dag Kings and others are more my speed.
edit: i checked wiki-- bit sad, but still cant wait to see what the 4th conjure they'll add will be, hopefully it'll be something related to the mystery on ungael :)
damn, this was my first time I was a part of a skill release and I regret not preparing for it cause now I cant make as much bank as people doing the boss. Amazing vid, rip that guy with over 400kc almost no drops : D
Hey idk if you’ll read this but mobile right now can’t do the nadir saga because of the mechanics and it seems reports for mobile are overlooked, if you could help us get this fixed since it’s been a issue for years.
At lvl 70 necromancy can i do zuk easily i pretty much sold my magic setup to switch to just necromancy and just stick to that until i can get enough gold to fully get some good magic melee and range setups
Watching this while grinding these chores of 30k souls at work on mobile lol excited to do the quest and fight him tonight! Wish for spooonage like u lol
I'm so inclined to believe the drop rates were stealth nerfed after this. People were getting tons of drops, and all of a sudden, people aren't getting any anymore. Streamer privilege is ass. I think I gotta put myself in front of a camera and make insane overreactions everytime something happens to get a shot at having stuff
The RS guy *makes 13bill in 4 hours Me *budgeting my money to see how much I can level necromancy before I run out of money* awesome job bro! Keep up the amazing work!
@@mitchsahadi4301 yeah I work. Have a job where I do minimum 40 hours a week, there's enough grinding in the game without me grinding all this extra stuff on its own, it's taking hours upon hours just at the ritual site alone.. Edit have*
1 minute kills with a literal broken skill would be fun >_> but I don't have the zuk cape to cheese the boss so my times are 3:30-4 minutes >_>. Miserable experience. Grats on everything though.
I'll wait a year hopefully prices get better, I feel like calling it a polished launch is straight up false since I have seen more bugs in 6h of necromancy than I saw within first month of archaeology. Especially graphical bugs and bugs around rituals where game blatantly ignored sigils that were fine and I had to relog. Content-wise it is a great launch although I havea feeling that necromancy will drain so much gold out of the economy via taxes that bond prices will go up again, we'll see what happens in december.
"We don't want to gate keep drops". Cool, cool I agree. The trend for insane grind needs to stop. However, go tell that to average players with 0 to 2 items on their drop log at 500 kills instead of 8. Streamer 'luck'?
sorry, but arch was a way better skill release in my opinion. even the 200 mil race was so much cooler. not like 40 hours and it was done and they started nerfing the xp rates so everybody else who didnt 200m in 2 days is kinda fucked. cool gagex, very nice to all non top players :) not like they tested it and yet they had to nerf xp rates... funny i kinda remember the same in arch and invention :') after the first few days the nerf the xp rates so if you dont hardcore skill you have to do it with less xp rates than everybody who played right from the start. thats no smooth skill reveal ... tbh gagex ruined this game for me. just come back to osrs, its way better. (it still got many issues, no doubt! but compared to rs3? its a godlike videogame) btw ... necro kinda looks like arceuus spellbook from osrs just with rs3 EOC style :) i mean in osrs the arceeus spellbook refers even to necro spellbook xDD and osrs got it since 2016, so its nice you finally caught up :)
Necromancy is what drove me and 2 friends to quit the game. Overpriced ass economy. Too much bullshit to go through for an average player. Rip to my account
It’s a new skill, what would you expect. Just wait a bit for the prices to drop, or go get the stuff you need yourself, it’s very easy. Like anyone with more than a 6th grade understanding of supply/demand, and opportunity cost would have seen this coming, and it would have happened in any game with trading and a player run economy. If you can’t grasp that, then I don’t think games with player trading are for you.
