In this video I played the new cave noises mod made by Gargin, to see if it really is minecraft's scariest mod. Original Video: • How I Made the Most Te... Tiktok: / eideridiot Twitter: / eideridiot Other stuff: solo.to/eider
It's also funny to note that I didn't even have the mod enabled for the first half of the video and didn't realize. Despite not having the mod enabled, just the thought of the cave dweller appearing made the game scary to play anyway.
Bro imagine massively over preparing, cheesing it with a boat, misunderstanding the stalking mechanics, hitting it down a hole, not even trying out the things specifically designed to make this thing scary like crouching and crawling, cheating the hardcore aspect of the experience and then writing the mod off as a bust.
Everything else besides over preparing makes sense. He misunderstood basically everything but I can understand why he prepared first because you would expect the mob to be powerful
Yeah 100% understand that he misunderstood the mod, but you got to realise to average player isn't gone to trigger most of the mods features because they will just fight back.
@@okpolar8791 I understand that point of view but I disagree that this is a showcase of an ‘average player’ in the situation. Most people would define the average player as normal mode, with no gamerules on. This creature preys on the fear of Minecraft which is the fear of loss; if you die you risk losing your items, ergo your progress, or in Hardcore even your world. This run was set up as a Hardcore experience, playing off the fear that makes this creature work in the first place, but as soon as he dies he not only goes into Creative to keep his world intact, but he also replaces his items, basically enabling Keep Inventory and ruining any environment for possible fear. This also isn’t the typical Minecraft experience because since this creature is made purposefully hard to fight, the main goal for the player is avoidance. It’s designed to make the player panic, run away, try to block it off to fight it like an Enderman which is when it’s allowed to be scary and use it’s fear inducing abilities. The fact that they specifically go out to try to kill it, with no risks because death means nothing to them, ruins any chance of fear left. They specifically put themselves in the least fear inducing scenario possible and then wrote the mod off as not being scary.
The biggest problem with this mod is that when you download it you expect it to happen and it negates the feeling of having a normal world. So if you have any sibling feel free to sneak it onto their world
you are supposed to play normally. its like when you need a gunpowder and search for creepers, they are not scary at all. but when you are exploring caves for diamonds and a creeper appears next to you unexpectedly, you can shit your pants
this is scary if it catches u off guard... and in your case u were actively searching for the monster expecting it to be scary so naturally it wasn't scary but if u were thinking about something completely unrelated to the monster and u were just digging some ores without expecting any danger and the monster would come out of nowhere after u i think u would get jumpscared af
Fun Fact: If You Press F3 In minecraft and search for "Mood" it shows you when the cave sound it will play when it gets 100% the cave sound plays if i helped other peaple thank me.
I recommend a horror pack combination of the cave noise mod, the from the fog mod, the forest dweller mod, (man from the fog) deep blood mod, audio enhancement mod, and insanity shaders. Being outside at night is terrifying and going caving is something I now tend to avoid. Don’t use nightmare versions of this mod or the monster will eventually no longer be scary.
Since you said that you didn’t have the model enabled for the first half of the video I just forwarded to the Second half of the video so that you would have the mod enabled for the second half
old cave dweller just stands and it stares at you if youre far away from the patrol hitbox, and he is a instakill and theres a chance that your screen will be blocked with a fake saving world screen
@@imsumiri i mean he only stares until you look at him, and if you get close to him he will run at you, if not he just flees or attacks, also he does not instakill at all and your never blocked with a fake loading screen?
idk if it's just me and i love content about this mod, but it always kinda annoys me thats the creators always have added music playing and the game volume so low, especially when they're playing a mod that's based so heavily on sound. it kind of takes away from the immersion for me, but i love the video none the less.
Do them to this mod next time but in hard-core and you have to stay in the caves and try to survive I don’t know if you can do that if you can your really good
