Today i am using the highland sword in chivalry 2 team objective gameplay. The highland sword is one of the most underrated and best weapons in chivalry 2 for team objective mode. What makes the highland sword so good is the distance it can control along with it's ability to hit really hard. I am playing on galencourt in first person for this chivalry 2 gameplay.

Don't matter it all comes down to players since most of the time you just getting spammed in a group so just pick an axe games boring like that.

@ghost707 . That's true if enough people understood TO points need to be heavily guarded. Then you gotta have a front line and back line. Back line fills holes and picks up enemy edge flanks. The offense has the movement advantage so def has to use line formations. If enough people do this then you can keep the offensive enemy in front of you and slowed. Defense is about eating up as much time at each obj as possible. So, if the defense is even slightly to spread out you'll get rolled. I care more about the win then the stats. Suppose that much is clear.

As a starter from the flood of free to plays. One of the most inane things i found was pairling the speed of the handaxe with the durability of the Guardian have started to rot my brain. Like this should not be that good. And it isnt

I love the highland sword. Rank 46 with it, and only 200 overall. The recent buffs have made it great, but I always enjoyed using it the most. It may not be the best, but imho it’s the most fun and rewarding.

Hey I was in about 6-7 games with you last night! Didn't know until I accidently took you down with a jav to your head. I was like oh shit that was stridah! Only issue was we were on the same team. I did pick you up and countered the guy you was fighting. I killed him but was not sure if you ever made it up and fully healed! Sweet, I'm on your team in this one. I was on your team for most of them. This is twice in a week I've run into by accident! Kewl stuff

Damn the overheads are so smooth and i like the new look, so i may have to give it a shot. As someone who likes to launch overheads at will, at anything that moves (followed by getting countered and destroyed) the highland is a great way to at least do all that in style lol

How do you swing your sword faster. Sometimes I press the button faster then enemy, but they still hit me first. And I'm talking about the moment when bought of you looking straight into eachother.

Look to whatever side you're swinging to accelerate the swing look away to slow it down. It explains it in the tutorial

Also some weapons are naturally faster and if u have like 90 ping chiv becomes quite unreliable in minute timings

@user-pf7lq4et3t What gaming for fun said. Some weapons are quicker than others. one-handed weapons are quicker than 2 handed but are shorter ranged the knifes even quicker bit even shorter. Stridah had a lot of good tutorials and once you understand the mechanics his gameplay is good to watch for positioning and group fighting tips.
