As more and more time goes by, the higher and higher in demand the GMT800’s will go and they’ll continue to bring in more and more cash. I definitely remember when an 04 Sierra like that one would sell for $3K. Not surprised to see it being able to bring in around $6K now. Great & informative video as always. Keep pumping them out! Sub base is growing!😎
Great deal for reliable transportation ! I have put my kids in those trucks for H.S. - college . Never lost money on any of them… bought basic work trucks and LS Models . ( less to go wrong) .. VERY LITTLE WENT WRONG… one ran up to 385,000 . Just routine maintenance!!! oil changes transmission fluid changes. All done by myself. Have to say I bought Southern trucks that were a pleasure getting under.,,, as ex rust belt ( left north west Ohio in late 79) ..) it would be well worth picking up a southern Truck, spend a couple extra grand on getting one!! ( find a reputable dealer LIKE THIS GUY HERE!) and drive it back home. You just have to maintain these vehicles if you don’t change fluids, it’s gonna bite you… same way with greasing up your front ends and the rest of the maintenance.. you don’t change your rear fluid… well, guess why they’re so many rear ends missing from these trucks junkyards… There are some family friends - they have some of these garaged vehicles around, and I keep telling them every time I see them : I want that truck for my grandchild!!! ( 8 year olds get old FAST) . There is a pretty blue 2006 cab and a half near me with under 100 the old guy uses his mother’s old Toyota and takes his truck out once a week… I always stop and talk to him.. it’s ALWAYS LOOKING GOOD! I’ve been in the same house for 38 years.. I could kick myself for not building an outside garage,, I got a two car garage under the house,,, I have missed some pull your hair out. Did I really pass that up deal … deal.. because not having an extra garage, and it would be a sin to leave it out. My dad and uncles built 1/25th scale, model cars when I was a little kid back in the 60s,, and got me into it.. I helped my daughters build over 20 of them , and we have them all ( if they were boys, they would be all destroyed lol).. now I’m building with my grandkids. If you only have a two car garage. And limited funds strongly suggest getting into building model cars.. I started my three year-old grandson on building snap kits….. ANYBODY CAN BUILD !
AND THAT 03 silverado shortbed that had 385,000 miles when I sold it,, I bought it for just over 8000 dollars when it was three years old.. and sold it for just over $8000! Now that truck was white, no frills, wind up windows … always was outside in the weather ( not garaged) BUT ! The body was perfect!! no dings,, always waxed within three or four months. ( my kids were ‘trained’). The paint under the truck looked almost as good as on top!!! And like all my vehicles, but every two years I washed underneath by hand!!! When I took the spare tire down, usually I took pictures some some of those times.. for when I sold any of them… that sure helps! Also a detailed maintenance log not only helps in resale !!! But help s you keep track of.🤔 when did I change that air filter or rear end fluid.
