I've been very much looking forward to experiencing the Ferrari SF90 Stradale in full, and the wait has very much been worthwhile! After a run to the hills near Maranello, it's back to Fiorano for some laps to get a feel for what this 1,000hp supercar offers. Turns out that it's really rather impressive!
@@machtschnell7452 Im saying Tim and Brooks both need SF90s. They’re probably the coolest current production cars on the market rn along with the 812 superfast and 765lt (although 765lt isn’t really series production and brooks already has one lol)
@Matias D.C everything has a meaning behind it and not every car is meant to be that loud. Time is changing and you would have to adapt to it. It's not disgusting
@@Shmee150 some of your youtube mates have taken that experience so I am sure the experience of driving an f1 car will come to you some day, and hopefully it would be the scuderia that steps forward and offer you the drive😉
The car itself is amazing and I like the way the hybrid system was implemented, it does not take away from the glory of that Ferrari engine. But the fact that the screens have even a tiny little bit of lag is absolutely ridiculous... This is not a VW Golf, the screens have to be flawless for 600'000$
Actually, a wet track gives you an opportunity to experiment with the stability control, traction control, and other handling dynamics "without" being at the much higher speeds needed to test these limits on a dry track!
Enjoyed the vid!!! It actually sounds really really good in this era of Exhaust Particulate Filters! Not quite a V12 but it still sounds awesome! Most important question though is whether there is a possibility of seeing one in the shmeemobiles one day?🧐
It's a testimony to your professionalism that you have never faltered in your consistency of high quality content. You introduced me to automotive journalism on YT and I'm still rocking with my guy! Happy for you, you've earned your success! One day I'll have a car that I can invite you to drive and hopefully make that happen. Cheers my friend
As always, great and informative video! You said it could do 5 Fiorano laps in Quali mode and 10 Fiorano laps in Track mode. QUESTION: If you kept driving car after batts are depleted, how many laps would it take for batts to be fully charged again to be able to do the 5 Quali laps and 10 Track mode laps? This info would be SUPER helpful 🙏
Finally I saw one in Singapore while I was riding. It was totally silent, in e mode I guess. Its so beautiful compared to photos and videos to see it in real. Congrats Tim for getting a superb car.
Neither you nor Ferrari have to try to sell me on it, because I'm already sold on it. I've been feelin' this Rari since the time before it was officially launched. The SF90 Stradale may be the greatest Rari ever. Well, at least until the next greatest Rari ever is released.
Awesome car,but it got totally embarrassed by the Rimac Nevera, the Nevera destroyed it in every race.Still not taking anything away from the Ferrari though, they are sweet cars.
@@epicxelxl8324 never said it was beautiful 😂 plus to be honest I've jumped on the EV train in the meantime and drive a Tesla model 3 that looks like like a half used bar of soap and if money was no object I'd be driving around in a Nevara. Here's to the end of the ICE age (don't tell Shmee though he likes his vroom vroom noises)
It's super quick but the V8 isn't as lively as a 488 Pista's. The downshifts and lift-off oversteer in the Pista are aggressive making it a lot more fun.
It's quite astonishing how quickly things have you could easily say "out of hand" claiming your STOCK car having 1,000hp wasn't possible up until the Veyron. claiming anything over 850 you were looking pretty much modified in varying degrees things like BNR32,BNR33,BNR34 GTR's,A80 Supra's,drag set up old school american muscle cars. Most supercars that were at the pinnacle of performance were in the 600-750hp,maybe a few cars from tuners like RUF that had a lower powered base car to base the car off of. now you have electric sedans like the Tesla Model S plaid with 1,000hp and hypercars with 2,000 plus hp and 0-60 times that were in the realm of dedicated drag cars.you also have cars breaking the 300 mph barrier which again was once dragster territory. the performance and technology aspect of the car realm is quite fascinating and insane simultainously. Tim you're a lucky bloke but don't stop sharing these experiences, perhaps one day some of us can join you with our own dream rides
Thank you for great review, which I found the best the other you tubers. Because you had convinced me to go for the SF 90 despite the sound which seems fine in your review, how much more in actual…. thank you 🙏 🇮🇹 🇺🇸
Not a bad sounding hybrid Ferrari. Your right Tim, nothing can top a naturally aspirated Ferrari v12. I'm rather surprised how well this Ferrari drove in a downpour on a racetrack. Guessing the same can't be said for some other Ferraris were it would be considerably more of a handful. A testament to how far engineers have some today. It's not to late to add a sf90 to your stable Tim!
It looks so much better all in red without the silver upside down t on the bonnet! It's an amazing car but still not an f40 which was way ahead of its time👌
