How do people react when they see a Batmobile in Las Vegas? Let's check out Kapow Racing's collection and then head to the famous Strip to find out! What a crazy experience to cruise through Sin City in such a famous car, would you recognise it instantly?
After a quick break from the USA tour to head over to Germany, it's straight back to Kapow Racing who kindly looked after my Ford GT while I was gone and had it cleaned and tidied up. Sitting inside the Batcave, it's in great company with the original 1966 TV Series Batmobile as well as some very rare cars including both the new and previous Gulf Heritage Ford GTs.
The Batmobile is based on a 1966 Lincoln Continental with new bodywork, and many crazy features including a 30ft (10 metre) flamethrower out the back! Inside you've got everything you would expect from one of the original 8 cars that were used for filming with Adam West in the TV show.

This is a clone.There is only one Batmoble built by Barris Kustom City and yes, based on that 1955 concept car. The owner of number one Barris Batmoble car lives in Virginia..

Actually, the Furura concept car was CUT UP and made into the original Barris steel Batmobile. The #1 car that he sold for 2 million bucks!

George Barris built only one Batmobile out of metal, using a heavily modified 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car, as it's base. After that. three more fiberglass replicas were made from molds of the original car, built by Barris Kustom City. I have no idea where this puppy comes in, as the owner of the number one car lives in Virginia...

It looks a lot like a Don Currie car.. But I've never seen that particular flame thrower set up before.. Definitely not a Barris built car. And the rear wheel arches are too straight for it to be a Bob Butts car. Check my channel.. Mine is a Batrodz..

Shmee, I hate to be a stickler for details. But as a Batmobile nut (& building my own, there was only ONE car that appeared on the show. It was a 1955 lincoln Futura. Then, there were only 3 Barris replicas. NONE were on show. The orig sold for 4.3M at Barrett Jackson.

Actually in episode #69 one of the replicas was used as a stand-in for one scene in the Bat Cave while the original #1 car was out of service. But you are right, there were only four Barris - built cars made, not eight as claimed in this video. And this car does not appear to be one of them. See 1966batmobile.com site for reference.

While in Vegas you should go see Lonnie Hammargren home and vlog his collection of cars, motorcycles and a lot of Vegas artifacts . I lived in Vegas for 9 yrs ..... He was a nasa flight surgeon in the early 70s His Collection is very famous and has been on tv several times .

Agreed, I think that California especially is Supercar owner paradise. However, Tim is proper British and loves the freedom of the German Autobahn's, hence having a place in Germany.

I can see the big difference between the batmobiles thru time, this car makes everyone smile, there is a more playful side of it, the Tumbler on other hand is more dark, steathly and more serious, People get more afraid of it.

You know what I appreciate the Cars Tim gets to drive all over the world but at least now I know which one out of all them I’d love to ride in and it’s that Bat-Mobile. It’s up there with the holly trinity of movie Cars the others would be the bullet Car and James Bond DB5 and knight rider if that’s the real deal up on the ramp. The value on that must be off the scale.
