The video was all jumbled. But staying on the B777 for one second (unlike the clickbait title), the B777 already has major commercial problems before it even gets delivered. It's not as efficient as the current A350 which is already 9 years old. It's also more expensive. It's also not here yet. And then you have that whole Boeing factor (ie. crap quality control).
If the B777-9 becomes a sales problem for the A350-1000, Airbus will just simply stretch it. Easy. The A350 NEO is just waiting on new engines from R-R anyway.
Boeing's technical issues really multiplied when they moved their head office from Seattle to Chicago. Not the move itself, of course, but that it represented Boeing's management's focus shifting from engineering to finance.
The most advanced commercial airplane is certified and proven….the 350, clean sheet design and full carbon fiber I understand if Ur paid by Boeing , but it’s not even on par with a 787
