If you are for a small budget, a lens that is built to last with, rich color rendering, a sharp vintage lens, for your collection and daily use on the streets, this is the one, if you are a bit ambitious too, seeking an extra bokeh...unless at noontime :0
如果您的預算不多,想要一款經久耐用、顯色性豐富、銳利的老式鏡頭,適合您的收藏和街頭日常使用,那麼這就是您的選擇,如果您也有點雄心勃勃,尋求一個額外的散景......除非在中午:0

Very nice! I have the later generation, the SMC Takumar 28/3.5 and I consider that an excellent lens.

Indeed this lens looks very sharp and with quite controlled flaring

I agree with you and I've noticed that Japanese lenses, even if they flare, you get nice flaring like the TOPCON RE AUTO-TOPCOR 2.5cm F3.5 (chek it out) like a "shower of rays".

Great videos, thanks! My understanding of the red numbers were that these would indicate the best settings for hyperfocal filming.

Great video! Thank you. I finally found my 28mm f/3.5 Super Takumar today after having misplaced it for the last year.🥺 Mine is the second version and is in like new condition in its original leather lens case with neck strap and the original Takumar lens hood in its original leather case attached to the lens case neck strap. Now to get out and use it. Interesting comparison to the Lydth 30/3.5. I have that lens too, except as an old Pentacon version and the new Version II from the modern Meyer Optik Gorlitz folks. I also have a later SMC Pentax-M 28mm f/2.8 in K mount. Guess I need to compare the two Pentax 28mm lenses. Something I have never done for some reason I cannot explain. Again, thank you for this video.

This is very normal when you have a number of lenses in your shelter. If I wasn't entertained with this channel, I'm absolutely sure that certain lenses will be stored in the oblivion drawer. How many lenses do you use alternately? Most likely half a dozen and the same goes for those who have a wardrobe full of clothes😂. About comparing lenses, I do prefer to compare with different makers. And last, it's my pleasure you have enjoyed my video. Thank you.

Your video sold me on buying one. Nice lens. I had to unscrew the rear element group out to clean but after that, very nice!

Thanks for your comment. Just wait a few more days and a new chapter about the Minolta MC W ROKKOR 28mm f/3.5 will be published. I will include comparisons between the two lenses.

I’m sorry to revoke my previous reply, that lens is gone as a birthday present 🎁. Is sharp and renders good color. Distortion is acceptable. If you are enjoying street photography, I say yes.

As always, an excellent video. Your lovely wooden table is complimented by the soft, warm lighting in studio. I've been following you for quite some time as "Eric Foster Media" and your review videos inspired me to start working on my own reviews, specifically of Soviet lenses. I've tried to borrow from many aesthetics, including yours, while covering things that I find interesting about the lenses. I so enjoy your videos. Thank you again.

Welcome back "Eric Foster Media". Any comment here is like food to my soul, whether it's praise or devaluation, I always pick up something. Talking back from Soviet lenses, I will return to this series. I appreciate your comments. Thank you.
