I have a question about this strategy. So in this video you explained that in order to have a valid trade price must touch the 20 EMA ( in a bullish trend) and it must not close below the 50 EMA, vv. Is this Including the wick or just the body of the candle?
@@olliemarsh1024 you should be careful if you're self trading,you can start trading between 12:00 - 1:30 but the market is rigid so you should be cautious with your decisions
@Norris Cox this is true but the financial industry takes these people with hopes and dreams and bashes them down until they are so demoralized that they don't even dream of trying again now. i'll even tell you why that is it's because IF YOU PERSIST YOU WILL MAKE IT but not many have the will to keep going and the industry doesn't want you to rise up that's how economics works but it is an admirable quality, there is no doubt about that

I have started implementing the strategies on demo account for testing my skills. You said it right. It is so easy to decide, when to trade & when not to trade, when you have some parameters set, what you call C.E.S.T. It has made the game so interesting & easy. Steven speaking the truth. Didn't turn around until I started doing what he's talking about. Create rules and back test them. Back testing is what gives you confidence. Don't place a trade until your rules are met!

this is truth. Figure out a strategy with definitive rules for when to get in, when to get out, when to make any exceptions to your rules, and do not risk more than 2% of your capital. This guy is real trader. Listen to his video.

My most consistent trading is that when Amazon is below 3200, I buy 2 week out calls, and when it's above 3250, I buy 2 week out puts. I then wait for 25% gains and sell, then wait.

@@bluish86 i found something very interesting, you find any damn strategy inclusing what this guy has said over here, u will always find that u must get at least 38% win rate with RISK/REWARD = 1:2, over 50 to 100 trades and you multiply it with any damn leverage u want upto 100 and now u r making millions , i found that in my algo testing, i am writing algos now
Just finished taking a few backtest Trades with this strategy. Honestly, this is very promising. I'm gonna backtest some more and keep it going. Edit: After doing more backtesting, I am very happy with the results I'm getting from this. However, this strategy seems best used on the M15 or M30 chart for short intraday trades based on my results.
Some good, grounded preaching in this one! Put 2 weeks or so now into watching, re-watching and making notes, still don't feel quite ready to backtest. Still honing the first 3 steps of the 'millionaire checklist', I've finally got my head around much of the lingo, the basics... I'm almost there. Next step is revision - taking this super slowly so I can absorb and be as prepared as possible for the backtesting. Seems pointless to backtest if my strategy isn't rock solid, or if my observational ability isn't as capable as it could be. Can't wait - I will be cross referencing various elements of the testing - times of day, whether bullish are more successful than bearish, then testing those elements etc. That alone, could take months! And *then* some demo trading..!! By the time I've achieved all that, I should have enough saved up to go live. Buzzing. Never felt so committed - which conflicts a little with my other goals, but I see this as a foundation from which all goals can flourish. Freedom, independence, sustenance... has to be done right!

I watched this video about 3 days ago and I started to backtest using 20,50 ema and the ATR. 100 trades later I got a 65% win rate on GJ on the 15 minute timeframe and a total of 421 pips.

Absolutely wonderful presentation, u know usually back in school and college when our teachers used to teach most of the time i felt like dozing off, it used to be so boring, hope u were or at least someone knew back then how to teach a subject like you do, having said that , that kind of feeling doesn't even come anywhere close to me when you are teaching, just get glued to the screen, and i am looking forward to join the course.
