Really weird to hear you reference Magical Destroyers. After I finished episode 12 I thought I’d never hear about that series again. Watching it was a very similar experience to watching Metallic Rouge, at least for me, they both started with promising first episodes but couldn’t keep it up, then they also both reached a point where they could have been salvaged, but failed and just ended up being bad.
I've been thinking about it a lot since the series ended and to be honest I actually think the series was a lot better than most people put it as but I understand why many didn't care for it. Still a fun show for the absurdity of the first few episodes
The episode today was really well done. When it comes to anime-originals there's always that chance that it'll drop the ball by the end but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm feeling optimistic though!
