Hey Mumbo can you please make a step by step video on how to buy a car from an auction , what to look out for , the fees and things we might need to know , that video would help us a lot ❤ Also what to do or check after buying a car from an auction
Yoohh this build took an unexpected turn no lie....love the calmness from Mumbo throughout the whole situation it really was an eye opening experience to the dangers of buying these high performance cars and auction houses...keep the content coming Mumbo✅️💎 would love for longer videos if you could, we wouldn't mind the wait😁
Please continue doing these videos. Everyone want to be car reviewers online, but little want to share their knowledge and experience. May God bless your business
Hey Mumbo. This is a big ask but can you do a video at some stage explaining your career and experiences in being a mechanic? What you studied ( if you studied), daily job etc. It would really give insight to some people that would like to pursue engineering like myself especially in SA.
This is what we need ,watch and share ..reason I subscribe to....please do more on repairs,sale,buying...there's a lot of shady repairs, sales, buying happening around but if one has some basic knowledge as you exposed would be better. Thanks for video...let me check my cars for engine/VIN disk...never done that
that car was in a front smash and has been repaired. hence the weld and no cradle to hold the radiator and broken cv or stolen and stripped and they put it back together to sell at auction on the other hand you got a win for the engine.
That last race was biased. I seems like it was purposely set that the EV perform better. Even if the EV is obviously faster but the first 2 races were better exhibits of both cars showing the EV may have a slight advantage but result is dependent on the driver. That last video implies the EV smashes the ICE and that is where I hold the sentiment its skewed
People hardly buy second hand GTI outside of the dealership, why would you buy such a car at an auction and why is an auction selling a stolen item???SASSA AFRICA 😮
I bought a 3rd hand Golf 4 GTI 10 years ago and it has been a very good car. Car had a lot of mechanical work in the beginning but it has been very reliable. It all depends on how good the maintenance was performed as with anny car. I was lucky in the sense it was not a dodgy car but i was unlucky that it had a looooooot of mechanical work. Its 95% done, still a few small things to do.
Hi Mumbo, I have a polo 1.0L tsi 2023 model with 13000km on the clock, when I’m on the 2nd gear it makes the whining noise, took it to the dealership I bought it from and the mechanic there said its normal, can I text you to assist me?
Help.Mumbo. i have a 2013 golf 7 tsi 1.4 engine. It has a high consumption problem. I have read in other vw reviews that this was vw problem and was supposed to have recalled the cars. What can be a problem on the car...its now @ 145000km and has done all its services. I bought it @ 35000km from vw garage.
They need to sell a car with corresponding engine and Vin numbers. Otherwise the car is illegal and cnt be sold. You can sue them for selling you a stolen or unregistered vehicle
@@lutha1720it is not illegal to sell an unregistered vehicle. I recently purchased an unregistered vehicle at a government auction and went about the process of registering it and it's on the road now. Even selling a vehicle with numbers that don't correspond is not illegal, as long as everything is above board. The problem here is that the auction house and the seller seem to have not been aware of the issue. The auctioneer is bound to mention such discrepancies before the sale, otherwise the sale is void. For instance, if they sell you a car as a runner but upon collection it turns out that the car is undriveable, you can have the sale canceled. Even if it is voetstoot, you cannot sell something under false pretenses.
This car was properly abused, good catch there that the engine doesn't correspond with the license disk number mentioned. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
