Its kinda funny that Theo is considering rivals the worst modern nfs while saying more pros than cons.

Had to say this, even whatever are said to NFS Rivals such as it's bad or bugged, This is the only NFS that got me playing more than an hour, even 5 straight! It's full of actions, scenery, variety (Not customization tho) and choices. Sometimes, the bugs made the the game are more fun to play with. And challenging. I just can't get myself used to newer NFS, it's just doesn't feel right... And the graphics..Man, as if you're playing inside a movie. I enjoy playing Rivals, that's what some newer NFS are lacking. The experience are wild!

I still play NFS Rivals today, i live messing up with the police as a racer, its just too stupid how much cops arrive even after u detroy them, they just keep arriving, kinda like MW2005

Rivals is easily one of the best Need for Speed games, maybe only beaten by Hot Pursuit 2010. Rivals is definitely better than all the NFS games that came after it.

I feel like Rivals felt more like an updated version of the 2010 hot pursuit and I enjoyed the game looking at it that way. It’s hard to milk out a story from such a game and oddly enough I think the approach taken in Rivals was better than the one from HP 2010.

I still think NFS 2012 is underrated. Graphics, car sounds, MUSIC is awesome. What I found in the recent NFS games are that they're so childish nowdays and "bright". NFS 2012 had the dark feeling too it which I liked.

Rivals was one of the best Need for Speed games, the story was ok but the driving was good, the cops were a challenge plus the open world cops and robbers it was something we wanted that we couldn’t get in Hot Pursuit 2010. Rivals is in the tier of 05 Most Wanted

I have the platinum trophy on this game and AT LEAST 1000 hours on it from back when I used to play it EVERYDAY since 2013, I absolutely love this game and it's probably the reason I like cars so much. Might be nostalgic bias but I absolutely love it so much. It's a 9/10 game for me, if they had customization options it'd be the best NFS ever for me. The graphics are so ahead of their time. It's still beautiful to this day

I would argue that NFS Hot Pursuit (Remaster) is the worst one. 1. Dead car list 2. Cops that felt like RC Cars 3. No meaningful freeroam 4. Overall pretty boring and forgetable experience

My main issue with Rivals was how buggy it was and the fact that is was online all the time. Of course I prefer having customization and all that, but its a competent game and a good Hot Pursuit successor. No Limits I haven't played and I never intend on touching it. 2015's handling ruins the entire game and the dialogue was like so weird and uncanny somehow. Payback I never finished because I had terrible rng with the card system + the story was not engaging and the last 2 games are pretty damn good. Here's my ranking. 1- Unbound 2- Heat (game doesn't have enough content to be #1) 3- Rivals 4- 2015 5- Payback

Modern NFS Best Rivals (Only negative is the music cuts out for cop chases which is 80% iof the time) Worst Payback (Only positive is insane drifting to grime music which only plays for that race type) Special mention to Hot Pursuit for the pursuit tech and The Run for their attempt at experimenting so much.

I've said this like a hundred times, I'll say it again - IF you like NFS: Unbound, you have NO RIGHT calling NFS Payback "cringy" or "bad". The only bad thing about the game was the Upgrading system, that's it, everything else was nice, its the NFS that introduced the Bigass car list that the other 2 games copied. And to be perfectly honest, If we're discussing stories, PLEASE explain to me (carefully) How is NFS Heat story or (godforbid) NFS Unbound story BETTER than Payback??? Its literally deeper and far more intriguing.

Rivals is my favorite of the "worst" games because those had some of my favorite cop chases the cop chases were on par with most wanted and carbon cop chases for me and that one time where I accidentally knocked out my friend with the pulse mine right before he was finishing the final race😂 he was so mad he started the race without me but then he died again so we came to an agreement that I can only use defensive Tech so I was limited to the turbo and Jammer lol

The worst of the worst is No Limits... It's basically designed to make you spend real money and this strategy disqualifies every other good aspect like Mod Shop, Car Series, Cops and Special Events. It's a good game but it's broken af micro transaction strategy (and stupid Mystery Prize draw) ruins the experience totally making you grind for every single part that can progress your Career or Event. EA please pull your head out of your ass and fix it 'cause otherwise - it's fun.

I hate to disagree but Need for speed Rivals is the best and the worst series so far. It depends which side you're on. If you're on the racer side, you're experiencing the worst free roam police chases however if you're on the police side, you're experiencing the best free roam vehicle busts at least. My worst Need for Speed choice is Need for Speed 3 Hot Pursuit. The police are annoying and the controls are slippery making it unfair to race or escape police chases.

I love how he praises it for its graphics, cops and "the most predictable handling" for 2 minutes but rants about the health system (which he likes in Heat??????) the adrenalin filled driving (which he likes in Most Wanted???????) and saying it is a gamemode???. At 10:52 (in the context in which he previously speaks about the cops and the handling and then saying it´s top 3 garbarge) you see that he has no proper arguments for dislikeing this game but still hates it for no apparent reason. The weird thing is that the parts which are debatable aren´t even mentioned in the slightest: the online-only, the pricey dlcs, the graphics not loading sometimes, the connection errors here and there at launch in particular and some more bugs and glitches which are mostly fixed now I think

For me the worst NFS game ever undoubtedly have to be a tie between NFS 2015 & PAYBACK. On NFS 2015, you also have to be constantly online for even playing singleplayer and cant pause the game like in NFS RIVALS. Whilst on NFS PAYBACK, its severely panned due to speedcards upgrade system.

I HATED the rebooted NFS, because it was online only and required a persistent server connection on top of things, and also the rebooted NFS Most Wanted. I preferred the OLD school Most Wanted MUCH better. The reboot for me didn't capture the essence of a Most Wanted game. AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! And also absolutely DESPISED NFS Payback with their grubby gambling elements amongst other things.

Nfs Payback was the best one for racing. Voting on races, all 4 types of races, drift events giving multiplier based on position in race, off-road being actually off-road (desert races, big jumps, sick off-road customization) and a ranked races system.

Only 7 games of NFS are amazing: 1. NFS Underground 2. NFS Underground 2 3. NFS Most Wanted 4. NFS Carbon 5. NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 6. NFS Heat 7. NFS Undercover (Yes I like the game) The other NFS games are trash.

I didn’t even think of this until I seen someone’s post below need for speed. No limits mystery prize is total crap. You have to get lucky to get upgrades. It makes the special events almost impossible to win unless you spend money. At least for any kind of car you would actually want and could help you in the campaign.

Me, personally, Unbound is the worst NFS. I love NFS Heat and Payback. I don't feel like Unbound is really a NFS game.

i hate when people say that need for speed shift 1/2, undercover, the run, were trash.. then proceed to show me gameplay from psp or some sort of shitty console ... bruh, just play the real game on pc then judge it. Imo, shift 2 is still one of the best need for speed ever made.

NFS no Limits is kinda similar to nfs unbound. They had A$AP Rocky in the game, takeover races and the iconic Mercedes for the two games.

I honestly love how chaotic NFS Rivals was - I might be bias as it was the first NFS game I’ve played but it’s still an amazingly chaotic game.

Rivals is easily my most played need for speed. Its buggy, it's broken, it's unfinished, it's terrible, but it actually has competent cops which makes it massively repayable and a ton of fun. Its handling, while obviously simple and brake to drift, was actually the most predictable and controllable out of any other modern nfs for a long while (if you managed to mod 60fps on PC)

I always loved the graphics of nfs rivals, I feel like the graphics where ahead of its time. All it needed was actual good customization and maybe a better story in my opinion.

Rivals is actually one of my favs, it's just so chaotic and it puts you on the edge of your seat all the time, and when you get to a safehouse you get a feeling of reward and satisfaction that you somehow escaped the brutal cops they had. Sure it didn't have a proper story but the game itself and the mechanics are super fun

Honestly i really love Rivals even though its buggy as all hell. As a person who grew up with NFS 2 and Hot Pursuit, it felt like a natural evolution of HP with proper freeroam and everything. And yeah that was the first game i spent over 1400 hours on! As for Payback, i did like the Fast and Furious approach they took, although i straight up hate the upgrade system, specially after seeing how (almost) in-depth it is in NFS 2015

Personally I reckon NFS Rivals is one of the best modern NFS games. The absolute chaos, the cops who were out for blood the second you touched the road and I very much admired the heat system (higher tier car means you start with a higher heat). The game had a very good car list which made up for the lack of customization options. Sometimes Heat actually feels like an extension of Rivals that way.

For me the worst is payback. The whole speedcard system ruined it for me. The fact that you had to get lucky to get good upgrades is awful. That and the sheer amount of micro transactions. I honestly really love playing Rivals. Heat and Rivals for me are the best ghost games, followed by 2015 and in dead last, Payback. My absolute favourites out of all the NFS games I’ve played are Rivals, Heat and Hot Pursuit (2010)

I still unironically enjoy Rivals to this day. Despite the hourly game-breaking crashes. Once I moved to next gen, with the Series S not having a disc drive, I basically lost most of my game catalog, because I didn't like doing the digital download route. But I couldn't play my backwards-compatible Call of Duty games, or the other NFS titles, unless I used my Xbox One or repurchased them. With the space and money I had, there needed to be sacrifices. I chose to rebuy Rivals and purchase Unbound. I swiped some free stuff I knew I'd keep playing from the Microsoft store, and waited for a couple CODs to go on sale. Here we are, with my hard-copy titles collecting dust under the table, and my Series S having the not-so-uncommon memory problems. Games ran good for a bit, and then started deteriorating like a supernatural force was destroying the game from the inside-out.

Rivals as a NFS game could be bad and possibly the worst one yes. But the game as a whole is chaotic and fun as hell. It brings you straight in, no story to tell, just action packed cops and robbers. The game makes you feel like you’re driving really fast with the motion blur and like this filter effect. I’d definitely play the game again

I like how the game is called No Limits, yet you have to use credit card for the crappy microtransactions. The most annoying thing is that, you have to get a certain amount of rep of level to progress and use real life money for the gas and etc

I grew up with nfs rivals and my xbox 360 and it is such a blast, to say it was the worst i think is a bit of a stretch, only things really lacking is the customization and the story and the amount of bugs and glitches.

NFS Rivals had freeroam cops and still has a big playerbase. They need to add playable cop cars in NFS Unbound. Maybe like Payback where you can steal it but maybe this time you can customize it

Payback is my favorite NFS, by a mile. Don't understand "map is bare, nothing to explore" when it had 5 derelicts (25 items) to find, around 100 poker chips to find.... That's a lot more than 2015 has. I also don't understand why people dog the story of Payback because it's the only NFS game that has a story of any substance. The rest of them, including 2015 with its real-actor cutscenes, basically just boil down to "bro, I drive to the extreme!"

NFS Rivals is probably the most fun racing game I've ever played, great car control, the drifting is crazy, amazing speed visualization, drift charging nitro, sick gadgets, total police-racer chaos, you can go on massive destruction sprees, it's so intense... getting to the closest gas station kilometers away with your low health and 3 cops trying to get you with EMPs. I'm probably gonna replay it again sometime.. again... love it... WAIT WHAT??? WORST NFS????? ARE YOU INSANE??!?

Other than NO INGAME PAUSE, rivals was the MOST FUN. & Carbon was probably the hardest. I played em all. Burnout paradise was the most memorable. Actually taught me how to read the roads/map for the first time.❤
