The fact this World Cup promo has been going two weeks now, and the only thing that really differentiates it from another promo is the swaps and also the WC Heroes coinciding at the same time. When you take into Account as well that there was no Promo the week before the WC Warm up to ‘prepare for this’ 🙄, could’ve easily give an UCL TOTGS

It was mudded as soon we found out there was gonna be no World Cup mode, let’s be honest.

You also must remember that this promo was in place of a World Cup game mode which is even more pathetic

Im usually one of them to criticise you when you slam EA for lack of content but you’re 100% correct. Its shocking that we basically get nothing on day 1 of the WC.

I’ve not actually played a game in about a week. Just impossible to get hyped these days.

This points to a much bigger issue with FIFA. As soon as there is a day or a few days of lacklustre, boring or zero content, the game dies. You are absolutely correct that there is no repeatable content in the menus that you can grind, but also, the game modes are outdated and just not fun. The rewards you earn for playing the various core game modes are generally pretty bad. Especially with how cheap gold cards are. Squad battles is like torture. Weekend league is very unrewarding. The red picks are mostly an insult. There’s nothing about Division Rivals that makes you want to get any more than 8 wins and in this current market, the rewards you get in Division Rivals for a whole week of play are pretty bad. There should be a game mode that you can grind that can generate rewards repeatedly throughout the week. There is just nothing that entices you to play beyond the bare necessities.

There should be a world cup tournament in fut where we can only use the world cup cards and when you win the cup you get rewards or smthng

"There isnt enough content" and "Gold cards are mad cheap" are two problems that cant be solved together. You either have less content so normal cards would hold their price longer or you have a lot of content and everyone except for top players would be cheap. So choose what you want Nep

The major issue is that they think they have given us content, they’re probably super pleased with the whole campaign and the big launch and I bet they made over £10,000,000 on pack sales worldwide

It’s actually a really good point about the market being driven down any further. Wouldn’t be unlike EA to try and protect their money making assets rather than give us any decent content

The biggest problem is that EA has the monopoly in football games. Imagine three or four decent football video games. Only that would make EA improve the servers situation, the rewards and the whole game in general. Untill that day they have no reason to change anything, since they earn millions from the vast pool of players that want to play a football video game every year.

I usually think Nep does overreact a bit but this is literally the biggest footballing event ever so on a game based on football you'd hope this would be a promo that follows that. Atleast we got a prime electrum pack for a flash sbc tho :)

i cant understand how ea ruins this game so easily, i have so much ideas how u could do fun and better things and i know the rest of the community has as well, didnt buy fifa23 but i like to check in on whats going on to see if i should buy it anyways, but no, there is no point. everyone should stop playing fut so they wake up at the office.. ffs ea

They added WC heroes, took everyone's money and ran. Anyone thinking EA were going to do player friendly content before Christmas was smoking crack to be honest.

I agree its so dead if its already that everyone has a crazy team they should just crack everyone a bit so like make ramsey 87 4*4* who cares right it would make selection of players more fun cuz nobody runs with them becuz theyl be having 76 composure and 3*3* and imagine how easy the content could be we have world cup starting imagine if there was daily pickem sbc or event you choose who will win the game or a draw for a 80+ pick or a objective player from that team. There should be showdown for every game and so much more. Yes there is a lot to do but as a guy who runs own busniess i get maybe 2 hours a day of fifa at most and i wpuæd love to use diffrent players but spending 20 games in a boring sqaud vattles is too much

definitely not the worst, but one of the most underwhelming let’s just say. this is what happens when you don’t have the actual world cup mode in fut, fifa 14 and 18 were so clear. obvs the wc has only just started so let’s see what ea will do but it’s started off so poorly.

Nep! Longtime viewer. Maybe in one video weekly OR monthly, breakdown everything given during that week or month to show how terrible or good the content was. This is exactly what I expected. Ea ALWAYS let us down. Whether it be not fixing bugs or overpriced content or the lack of it. They rarely give us worthwhile content when we need it

Nep pretty much says as it is in my book. Let’s be honest. Don’t care much for league sbc’s personally but some repeated content is required. SBC’s are expensive so make it reasonable and higher rated.

EA think a few promo cards, the swaps grind and a few sbcs here and there is enough. Now we have inconsistent gameplay, bad servers and no content, actually shocking.

The market has been mudded since they release the tradeable hero pack. I don't buy players now as my coins will disappear after ever day or random EA mistake. Hold onto cards and the value drops 70% over a week

There are so many players, that EA could literally do a showdown SBC for every single match

The gold prices surely are concerning EA. They have really screwed up their cash cow. Why buy points on any non promo release day (well at all but many do)? Game is in real trouble

No world cup mode and a patch that ruined the game. Worst week of fifa in years

It’s because they have lost the rights to the WC from next year so they make the last WC mode extremely underwhelming and disappointing hoping that we won’t have fond memories and demand it next time. This is the EA mentality they are like a spoiled petty child. If they can’t have the license then they will just spoil the mode for everyone. It’s their ball and they are going home. Next year without the license is the perfect time to start a boycott of FIFA, I do enjoy the game but hate the way it feels like I’m being psychologically waterboarded by EA trying to drive pack sales. It’s like they are reluctant to make their game fun. The joy the game can bring must be rationed out in increasingly miserly blobs until all that’s left is crap players and crap packs to play for or grind.

Anyone else having problems when after finishing a game before being able to advance back to the menus you get kicked out of fut and get a DNF. This has happened to me every single hame win or lose. Any help would be appreciated

With EA there are no surprises anymore. Friday, new batch of players. 1 sbc every night. The world cup players are a copy + paste job. They are scared to make sbcs too good yet the gold market is on the floor.
