Hey I have recently got into metal detecting. I have an old radio shack metal detector. The best thing I have found so far is a silver plated 1940 spoon. My other two good finds are an old 9mm bullet never been shot and an old metal bicycle pedal. I love watching your videos. Keep it up your the only person I watch that metal detects. Thank you
You young man are the reason I startedetal detecting! Between it and my horses I'm staying busy! I love the research part of it since I live up north it pretty necessary! Happy old lady dirt digger
Great find with Spanish silver coin. It looked like you were in Florida where I live. The foliage and the sandy soil are the same. Enjoyed this video very much. God bless.
Good job bro. You deserve it. I watch a lot of your videos. I love this stuff. You work hard and go to really cool places. I have a great feeling you've yet to find the coolest thing ever but are gunna. Go man!
Congrats: that is sweet. Glad you both had an AWSOME hunt. And thank you for the adventure. Saw u &chig in Vegas on his channel. Well barely saw you. Thanks again "youngin'"!
Back in the day, those old 1700 coins, them folks didn't have pockets like we got today. The'd keep their coins on a string. That's why ya see holes in many of the early coins.
A few things. Notice that hole in your Spanish Real? It was fashionable in the 19th century and late 18th century to poke a hole in a coin and make a necklace of it. That's likely what went on with your Spanish coin. And that Razor. That type was introduced into use with the US army during the first world war.
I Agree with one of the posters. I think your buckle could well be a sword guard. The other possibility is a baldric Buckle. Either one or the other would be an awesome find!!! Even better than the silver :)
9:22 that looks like a pen holder, they used to stand on desks and usually could hold 1 pen per hole. Not the new pen types but the old dip in ink ones. It's probably part of one of the officers. Most likely 1800's.
I found a coin just like that Spanish coin so now I know what it is but it's a little bit more wore out than the one you found thanks for sharing God bless
That disc with stem and three loops reminds me of an old smoking pipe stand my dad used to have. Great video. God bless you also. Numbers 6:24 - 27 my brother.
The Lord sure blessed you today! Wow! Great hunt. I'm at a loss of where you are but it looks like Florida With its darkened sand. I hope you can detect on that site again. It's rich with undiscovered history. The confusion I have is you're finding I think civil war buttons. That means you could be in South Carolina on the coastal area. Do ya mind giving the state? Georgia has red soil. Sure did enjoy your vid, nugget! 👍🏼
