Warframe is probably the only free to play game that lets you buy hundreds of real world dollars worth of in-game cosmetics for completely free because you spent an evening cracking open relics you don't even remember getting.
The only thing that doesn't feel free to play is the weapon and Warframe slots, you get like, two weapon and one Warframe slots from Nora and then you have to wait months until her next lineup gives you more so you have to buy Platinum or learn how to trade, and even then a beginner would only have 3 trades minimum per day. At least there's no longer paid daily REVIVES for if you die too much in a day. That was dogshit.
It is actually insane how this video feels like complete information overload, and jet there is still so much more to this game that didn't get mentioned like rail jack, world bosses, pvp (lmao) and so on After 10 years of playing this game, I still don't understand how so many people complain that there is no content

I've played warframe since closed beta and never ever i saw a game with so much free content, with honest F2P system, with free DLC-sized updates, with tons of ways to modify gameplay to match your own vision of how it must be played. Warframe is truly a beauty of gaming, and time-consuming gameplay is not even a problem, honestly, because of how you can compensate your lack of progress in one system by a progress in another system (like focus eidolons -> zariman angel, focus lenses).
@@SamTheLemonBoy Actually, I don't think Warframe is that much time consuming, in that you reach endgame content fairly fast, if you consider that endgame is being able to perform well in any mission including steel path. Getting all frames, all weapons, with a faire amount of maxed build is relatively optional, and in this regard you can most of the time farm specifically for what you want ^^

I can confirm that this is indeed Warframe, you even captured that feeling I'm pretty sure we all have where we hate how obviously tediously grindy this game is at every single fucking level, absolutely eroding at your patience and time at every opportunity just to try to nudge you into spending some money - and yet I can't fucking stop playing, even after taking breaks I can't stop relapsing right back into it again. For me its the general gameplay flow, the combat, the movement, ect as well as making progress with builds. Getting more and more devastatingly powerful, making missions that used to absolutely wreck you into complete cakewalks only to hit the next difficulty wall and have to keep grinding to overcome it, its like fucking crack dude. Oh, I also really like the lore and story despite having had to do literal research in order to understand it. I have yet to spend a single cent on this game because I have no life and no money.
The only game I played that actually got me thinking "holy shit, there's too much content in this game". I returned recently from a few year break and felt like I never played the game but somehow have a bunch of frames and guns unlocked. I loved it before and I love it again tho.

Ive been playing this game for 10 years, its a blast! One thing I recommend for new players: get a veteran buddy and force him to unequip his powerful shit and then stay in friends only mode so you dont get all your fun and kilsl stolen by randoms who after a month of play have shit that is infinitely more powerful than the beginner stuff
that is probably a great idea, but the veteran would have to spend so much time doing shit that is worthless to him that probably nobody would ever do it, assuming the veteran helps the newbie through a big portion of the early game

bro relic farming destroyed any chance of me coming back to warframe ever again. every time people say i need to trade plat instead of playing the game also made me shocked that the system worked like that. Cool that there's a whole market about trading with other players to keep it thriving but I just felt super demoralized when i wasn't allowed to use the weapons i wanted to use for most of it to raise my mastery. I'm sure the game has changed a lot since i started playing but I'm already on another live service grind that fills the deckbuild brain
There are quite a handful of flaws in the game, but some of them seem alright and easy to brush off since while having a specific goal to get something, you get other useful things along the way

You were a bit wrong on how to get relics you can get them from almost anywhere and if you look in you codex you can see exactly what misshions drop what relics
god when i got into the trading system more often, selling many items for platinum, i start to figure out how much pain it saves me from having to grind out these primed items

@@Kuhekinbuild frames and weapons. Crack some relic and sell the blueprints for plats. Craft or buy zaw (buying for new player) and trade for exodia contagion. Buy affinity booster go on defend or survival mission (preferred location sedna) and nuke everything with zaw. Rinse and repeat until you feel like puking and you will reach MR24 in 1 or 2 months.
What about eidolons, arcanes, spooder boss, fashion frame, obscure pet grind, collecting abused animals on open world, PvP doesn't exist, railjack, 100 hours b4 the good cinematic quests..? Aka Part 2 when?!?!
there is way too much stuff in this game that in the process of making it felt like things felt forced and pushed in rather than naturally flowing through, but yes, so many other things that has not been talked over

Ngl even with all the stuff you say warframe has, im running out of stuff to do now (other than MR farming) since i already maxed out all of the factions and syndicates and im swimming in resources, back in the day i spent waaaay too much time doing endless survival/mobile defense missions and im now sitting on so much that i dont know what to do with it (except for mutagen samples... i'll never get that damn hema 😮💨) and so many unranked weapons and warframes just because ive been too lazy to level them. People say i should throw my 50,000,000+ nanospores into helminth but i feel like keeping it just for nostalgia's sake lol. For any newbies wondering how the fudge i farmed so much, this was when eris - akkad was popular for MR farming, long before sanctuary onslaught became a thing.

When you get so far into the game you can make overpowered warframes and weapons and you see those numbers all over the screen SMITING EVERY SON OF A B... i mean yeah great game
I love warframe because it is fully free and there is no FOMO. The crafting taking 1-3 days does suck, but it gives you time to play other games between builds and not burn yourself out on playing just 1 game for months at a time. Its nice if your group plays a bunch of games on and off!
I love Warframe, and yet there is no other word for the Relic system than BULLSHIT. Get this: every Prime requires at least one rare component that drops from a Relic. The base rate of rare drops from a relic is _2%._ But if you expend 100 Void Traces (about 3-6 Void mission's worth depending on how many bonuses you get) on upgrading that Relic to Radiant rank, the rate of rare drops skyrockets to... *10%.* So yeah, you go from "literally almost no chance of getting a rare" to "literally almost _some_ chance of getting a rare". It fucking sucks, and it always has. Makes me miss Void Keys.
Started Warframe in 2017. I immediately quit because my rig was shit and I had no clue what the fuck juice I was doing. Started again in 2021 after getting a better rig. I quit several times, but my monkey brain wanted more pain. I remember all that time I spent as a newbie grinding for Garuda because I didn't know what power scaling was and was getting one shot by those damn Moa's. Fun times, fuck Warframe. I love this game so much.
I started playing in 2016 and stopped in 2019 because it was just too much grind. When I reached my first 1000 hours I was so burned out, I just gave up. logged on again the other day and was like yeah no, I'm done.
Almost 2k hours, half of them invested in the market, 500 of them invested in grinding, and the other almost 500 are somewhat playing the game And yet, it's still hard to say if "I'm enjoying the game" Absolutely recommended
And if all that grinding, farming and weekly/daily nonsense is burning you out, just fashion out your loadout and go out and catch some animals, go fishing, do some K-drive races and Kaithe Races or renovate your orbiter/dormizone xD just live a happy live Warframes got it all.

Because theres always thing's to do everything is obtainable and not just bought or u can trade thn buy for free i came back recently havent played for 11 months theres so much going on rn im building so many different weapons like ive played this game for a year but i didn't knownl there are melee called spairs or something like that yeah they dont go above level 100 but they got style points
I'm a rank 19 been playin for 11 months, proooobably xp wise, rank 25 or 26 by now, but I suck at stealth missions so I quit the rank missions months ago, lol, I could probably smash it out now after months of fun, but, meh... I hold plenty of traces for how I play, so I'm in no rush.

My titania who have max 700 energy and 4 archon crystals give 50% more energy from blue shit alos one 75% more. no thenk one 25 energy give me power to kill you and evryone you know, and no one see me, is alos a chance im stuck in pixsi mode on the wall so hard even unstack not help xd
