Tanner you are what sponsors look for. A talented driver, great with fans, & in my opinion a very humble person! Being as young as you are, be patient, put the things you learned from Bobby Allen to use! Your family team, will always be the most important, hopefully as you grow as a driver, the sponsors will come your way!

If sprint side ran like late models sure, but until wrg stops manipulating the teams on when and where they run. And make their dirt vision numbers transparent, think they're on downward spiral
@@dakotamcavoy524 40ish drivers on a regular outlaws night is pretty shitty if you ask me lol same track. Allstars had 70 cars. The 3 foreign series race policy is also pushing drivers away

Congratulations on your past year. I know you and the family learned a lot on how to run a successful traveling team. I would also like to ask you and Carly to take questions about your experiences working for traveling series at that pace. Also you need to get your little sister to let you win more to pad your stats.
The experience racing with Scruffy and his team was time well spent. I'd bet it exposed areas you know you need to work on. You had some good runs and some not so good runs and that's all part of it. No need to be down, you're still just gettin' started in this deal and you still have along way to go. You're close to consistently competing for wins on the NARC tour in California and not just at the tracks you're used to running. Laps, laps and more laps will get you in a position to beat the California guys at their tracks - Chico, Watsonville, Tulare, Hanford, Stockton etc. You know you have to get where you're fast out of the trailer and in the top tier in qualifying at all of those tracks - every night. As you well know, that is a tough road ahead. Keep your head up, do the work, put in the laps and go for it T. We're all pulling for you and your family. I have been watching you from the beginning Tanner, and when you got to drive the Shark Racing machine I was so excited for you. You have the ability and mental attitude hopefully you can push forward with the top tier you certainly have opened some eyes in my opinion. If I had the funding you would be my wheel man and that's coming from a guy from central Pa. Best of luck and hopefully we will see you soon on a national stage.
Tanner, you and dad and Carly are the glue to your team, you have the bones to build from. Taking the 18T to the next level is what I was hopeful for and not mothball the equipment. Now you will need to add members and funding to expand the schedule and war chest to compete. But consider this Logan and Jacob have 10 years on the WOO tour knocking heads with all these great drivers. Not easy and a huge commitment week in and week out. One step at a time, and if you go the other way as a hired gun you just came out of that situation and had an eye opener to running full time for 8 weeks! I can’t wait to see the 18T Back on the track it’s the best step.

I'm a little tardy catching up, but to see you back in the 18T for 2024 has me excited. I am so glad you had the experience with Shark Racing. I've always thought your cart racing skills could translate to success on the 410 circuit. And with Bobby Allen's team, it did. I am sure you learned a ton about the car set-up while focusing on your driving. But I missed the 18T and your in depth sharing of the THR family journey. Thanks for sharing! ✌✌
Tanner, so nice to have a quick word with you post race at Lakeside Speedway back in October. It was a cold, miserable rainy night, yet even with all the delays with the track, you still hung around and chatted up the fans. Hope to see you next year sometime in the Kansas City area. The schedules this coming year is beneficial to a West coast driver. This will help you. Replacement drivers are needed sometimes. You have proven you can travel with your seat in hand. Good luck this coming year.
Tanner you would do great in high limit and that would work out great , you sure impressed me at Knoxville and prayer to you and your family what ever that be
Go to Florida pick a series High Limit or Outlaws see how you do. If good hit the road if not run Cali, king of Cali/ Narc or move to the mid west and run a bigger tracks all year. 410 engines only.
I would gearup to start the Outlaw season in Florida and sorta ad lib it from there. ASCS is a good 360 series to consider or Silver Dollars not a bad track to frequent, I think the Outlaws is Great, then again declaring early for the High Limits a great decision if you got the assets and team all lined up.
As David Gravel recently said in one of his podcasts, build your own brand. Take the experience you got with Shark racing and put it in to your own team. No doubt you can!
I watched David Gravel this morning who was interviewing Rico and they both made comments about you potentially driving the 7S. Either way looking forward to seeing you at the track and continuing to watch you grow
Great video! But was just questioning your comments about the 3 car team for shark and about you saying how getting all that equipment would be challenging but you have all that equipment at home? You couldn't bring your own hauler, cars, motors, To team up with shark?

I have enjoyed watching your videos and your progress in the last couple of years. I hope you are able to land a good sponsor. I'd love to work on the crew, but I think like a 20 year old when I am actually 76. One thing I have noticed between the 18T and the Allen car. Your car seems to wallow a bit when there are rough spots in the track especially when you are running the top. The Allen car didn't seem to do this at all. It's like your right rear bar is too soft or you aren't getting enough shock action. I just wanted to mention it.
Tanner, great to hear that the 18T is looking to expand your schedule! Would love to see you get your 1st National Tour win in the 18T!! You missed an extremely important part in this video as you didn't acknowledge the sponsors on the 1T! If you're talking into a microphone or a camera always thank the sponsors, that's what they are paying for!! Will help with potential new sponsors as well. Can't wait to see what '24 brings!!! Hopefully you get the opportunity to join High Limit or do a true outlaw schedule. You have the unique ability to build a brand similar to Rico. Without the need to run a series full time. Would love to have you in Indiana June 20th through the 23rd to support the new Maverick Winged Sprint Series IRA speedweek. 4 races in 4 days at Putnamville, Bloomington, Haubstadt and Terre Haute. Not huge money, 6000 to win 500 to start. But new tracks and fans you could see. While neither national tour is doing anything.
Am I reading the tea leaves right, this new Indiana winged series is kinda replacing the non-wing series that shut down? Do you know any details around either of the 2 series?
@@busher69 There is alot of 305 racing around here. So the original idea was to give those guys a series to progress their wing careers. And add some money to the local scene for some of the non wing guys. With possibly helping progress them along the road that Courtney and Windom took from USAC. Tmez is planning on running with the them in the 00. And they have a partnership with the IRA. The series was planned prior to the announcement of MSCS shutting down. So it's a good thing it's around. Those MSCS shows along with big local events helped pad out the USAC guys seasons. Sometimes a local show can look like a USAC one around here.
Well with all the years of racing I have been around, getting a "ride' is all about show me the money... I have heard your name bounced around a bit because of your social media presence... so go man go...
I am sure your will make all your dreams come true, if your can't get a drive with a big team , at least you know you have the support of your family friends and fans to help you succeed. How knows you could become the super sub for other teams through the year.
It's to bad you don't live in my area Central PA. Port Royal , Selinsgrove, 20 min. away or Williams Groves, Lincoln, or BAPS 1 HOUR away You could run a 100 shows a year plus sone Outlaws and High Limit races Many drivers over the years have taken up residence here and raced for a living like Doug Wolfgang, Jimmy Sills, Bobby Davis jr. Jan Opperman, Jerry Stone , and Darren Pittman . Yea rent a shop and an apartment. here in my area i.e. Juniata County where rents are low and bring your sister Carly along . lots of good pit crew people to draw from as well . I know a great crew chief with 20 years exp. that has his own shop. Heck I would show up and scrape mud off the car and sweep the trailer out n/c . Also many potential sponsors. good luck , i think it would go to the races i wanted to like Rice is going to do. i races off road for 40 years and really never ran for points. but i know that tow money would really help.
Tanner ,if you run your equipment, there will need to be some outlaw motors ,460,470,480 cubic inch open motors .There's probably not one 410 under any of the top teams ,just food for thought.
High Limit Series is really putting a lot more out there for the teams to run it. They are even coming to our home track Fonda Speedway in NY! Would love to see you there. You have a bright future in racing Tanner. So does Carly. Wishing you and your family nothing but the best.

Thank for the update. 3 car operation at Shark might be too much. However, I hope that whether someone (Like Jason Sides, Crouch Motorsport), or staying in the family car, I hope that you can make it work to do national tour in 2024, whether it is the outlaws (which rookie of year sound cool) or high limits.
I'd like to see you build a 305 sprint at some point and race more in the midwest. There are a lot of tracks that mostly race 305 sprints due to the higher cost of 410 and 360s.
You Also got 25th in points too not bad for the first year and considering you were only with them part of the year tooThere is I think over300 drivers in points
I bet many of us fans of yours would be interested in helping or buying some space on the car, you know like croudsource some funding to support 2024. Maybe call us the RU-vid Crowd when thanking sponsors.
Wow. What a Season to look back on. It must feel like it was a dream. Its early days yet and teams are still working out the Future racing. As you take this time to prepare for next Season all the normal end of Season jobs need to be done. As people build Teams I am sure your name will come up often. I predict that some BIG THINGS will happen during 2024 for Tanner Holmes. Carly is undoubtedly one of the best crew members and drivers to have on your side.
How about a limited run of T-shirts with a blank space for the fans to get creative and put our names on the car as the sponsor. Kind of a fill in the blank or like Carly did with the “Me” Ricky Bobby tribute.
