Our small team of 35 people in 2019 was far from imagining the impact that Ancestors would have, and for that, thank you so much. Following your adventure brought back so many good memories that we had in the development of Ancestors. Watching someone other than us still playing our game, and finishing it more than three years after its release brings us incredible joy. Wow I really hope there will be a sequel where we get to evolve even further! Become sedentary, build little huts, maybe start farming and all that. Either way, this was an amazing series, thanks for bringing us along Fooster! Probably my favorite so far.

This series was where I began watching your channel and in between your updates I have been addicted to watching all your other content. I’ve also had to watch videos several times over because your voice is so soothing and it puts me to sleep real fast on occasions. Keep it up!

the Taung Child was a skull of Australopithecus Africanus that was severely damaged like its skull had been bashed in, leading to theories of a "killer ape" era of our evolution where our ancestors would brutalize corpses and keep skulls and other bones as trophies, but after a few more in depth studies the "trophy hoards" turned out to be piles of bones left over from huge predatory birds cleaning out their nests and the Taung child happened to have been snatched up by a giant prehistoric eagle and the bashed in skull was actually it being crushed by the talons so if you have a crippling fear of birds, you may have a residual survival instinct from back when birds used to kill us. either that or you were just spooked by birds as a child.

This was the series that made me follow, and I'm a little heart broken to see it "finish" but I'm so excited to be a part of the Fooster Fam and to see what comes next!

This has been such a good series to watch! These types of games, they can be really hard to do because the action is very abnormal but with Fooster at the wheel that simply doesn't matter! If you're thinking of another game to try then this reminded me enough of Death Stranding to recommend it. Again the gameplay is different but the way it makes you feel must be similar.

I'd like to see the process of the animal becoming able to throw rocks, then the brain developing along side that (further spatial awareness, understanding how rocks/objects fall with gravity etc), then social structures based on defense (strength in numbers, especially when it comes to throwing rocks), and so on, because this journey has been pretty cool to watch so far.

Hey Fooster, a new game came out I think you would be interested in. It's called The Demonlogist. It's very similar to Phasmobia, but on a scale of 1 to 10 for horror and jumpscares, it's a 20, and instead of just identifying the demon, you have to exorcist it. I wouldn't recommend playing it solo. Really enjoyed the new ancestors' video 😊.

I'm no gamer, I'm an old fart, but I really really enjoyed this game, I do love ancient history and this game is remarkable. I'd love to see some more of you playing it, have a groovy day chap and hope you and mum are feeling better.

The problem with SilkStrike is that the overhead swing only deals 80 damage per hit, it swings around twice for only 160 at best, but it also makes you fly up so the second hit never connects. Also the fact that it's a close- to mid-range super with very little armor so you usually die before getting to the enemy

This is the first time I'm seeing proper gameplay of this game. It looks so so so so cool

I remember when this game came out and everyone hopped on the bandwagon making videos about it, and then they just all mostly lost interest after an evolution or two. Four years later you're like one of a handful of people still making a series on it and almost speed running and grinding it too boot lol

When you finish the game you should try the return to the original settlement.

I don't know if this comment will reach ya or if you are into these types of games but i recommend giving rain world a try they recently added a bunch of story dlc and stuff, plus it would let the game get more of attention towards other content creators and such
