Heat protector - I’m from Scotland 🏴 and if your getting a style done with heat tools they will always apply heat protector for you. That being said, when I go abroad I tend to wear heat protectors even if I haven’t used hot tools., just to help prevent sun damage - so maybe they just assume as you live somewhere hot 🤷♀️ 🤷♀️ Also, you looked stunning as always ❤

$20 for hair AND make up! Honestly....you got what you paid for. Its not amazing but its not total trash. Honestly if the MUA updated the look from mid to late 2000s to more recent style & trends it would've looked a lot better. No thick chunky black eyeliner, a different lip color, applying blush and/or contour, highlighter. You know...more modern & younger.... This look doesnt scream MOM/ AUNTIE make-up, but it couldve for sure been more fresh & youthful. Again $20 for hair & make up. You got what you paid for. The fact they picked the right foundation colour is impressive! Lol

Don't feel bad for changing your mind when it comes to things like the cape, just say "oh, now I do feel hot, can we take it off?". They won't feel bothered about it 🤷🏻♀️ It's not worth it to just continue feeling uncomfortable for what? Another 30 min?
I go to hairdressers and they comment on how healthy and beautiful my hair is. I tell them I air dry and very little heat or products. They then proceed to use tons of product and curling irons. I don’t say anything because I don’t want to upset her at all. She’s a great stylist and my hair cuts are perfection.
Here in Brazil, the saloon usually wash your hair before do the haircuts, hairdryer hairstyle, so they don't expect that you go using hair protector. Cheap or expensive, we usually do that way. They do it for us
Not a make-up salon, as you mentioned. Very decent make-up, for modest conditions. I like the hair and make-up. Minimalistic, commensurate with possibilities and price. If you want amazing wedding makeup, hire a professional, don't judge, don't disparage the cheap service...some poor guy out there, who as far as I can see is ok. Next time, go to someone who might deserve bad comments, this person didn't! This is not like "others bad make up artist"...
I know that the dating thing was a bit of a sketch for some laughs, but as someone who has been married almost 15 years now, I do have some unsolicited advice- Do what you love and don’t put pressure on yourself to find love. If you go out and do things you enjoy, you will meet people with the same interests. Having someone that shares the same interests as you is important. Not putting pressure on yourself to find love, you may make a friend that ends up being your person. 😊
Maybe they assume you straighten your hair daily so you already have on the heat protector on already? IDK. I live in the U.S. and my hair stylist always puts it on before straightening.
The makeup is nice and the makeup artist has a very good technique. but I find that the black on the eyes hardens your features and is not appropriate for a wedding.
They might be asking about the product because too much of the heat protectant can cause a build up and not be good. So it's possible they want to just make sure you don't already have it on.
The hair and makeup is not that bad… I am from Costa Rica, and here you are not expected to have any product in your hair when you go to the hair salon, it is actually the opposite, they are expected to provide everything…
I am from Cape Town, South Africa and we use heat protectant. I went to a hairdresser once and they didn't put it on and I request it immediately because with my hair texture it would cause my hair to fry off. Most hair salons use heat protectant and even throw in a free hair treatment at certain times of the month. Love the make-up hair is questionable I don't know how I feel about it
You can tell just by the way he holds the brushes that he has more experience and technique that 99% of the MUA’s you go to. He also ASKED about your brows and respected your response of “no”. Lol ALSO, I am 35, single, have NEVER dated anyone (by choice). I’m in love with sleeping around, not having to share my money/time/houses with some dude lol enjoy being single!! It’s the BEST!!

OMG NO!!!!! First off the makeup was horrible. It's your "wedding day" and like you stated there was no conversation about what look you were going for. Same with the hair. He never asked one time what you were looking to do. He doesn't know how to use bobby pins. You actually use the side that has the little bumps, they will be closer to your head, that way they grip your hair and will ensure your style to hold all day. Omg and the supposed MUA's need to stop using liquid eyeliner on the bottom lash. They should be using the color they used on your lid and only half way. That will make your beautiful huge eyes look gorgeous. I love your content keep up the good work. 🥰
Eye shadow was good liner no ; you’ll find someone to do your makeup for wedding; as for Men it will happen online dating ah no it’s can be never real you really trust that ¿ I would buy the makeup and practice a lot for everyday looks you can do it well try at least you have a great canvas to work wit and eye brows…. On shower days i put a hair serum, a tiny amount of hair oil and a pump of heat protection(i dry my bangs and let the rest of my hair air dry). The product i use has some other things in it that’s also good for your hair
You should go back to places that you thought did good, but were hindered by inferior products, and bring your own make up for them to use and see if they do any better?
Truly i liked it 😊 About the heet protection i have no idea why they dont use it...last time when i got hair cut and color this lady burn my hair i could smell the burning i dont go salons any longer my hubby cuts my hair strait and looks awesome 😂
I went to a beauty school to get my hair done and I told the girl straight up that I don't want any heat products applied to my hair cause I already damaged it myself using the flat iron multiple times without heat protection. She was totally understanding and even braided it very nicely. So that's always an option to get it braided and then u won't have to worry about them blow drying and whatnot.

So I would flip your rating the makeup an 8 and the hair a solid 6! Yes he could have done better contour, blush, highlighter. But your eyes looked good regardless of the eyeliner not being perfect.
Hairstylist here! In the US. He may have asked you because there are some products that go in the hair when it’s wet that have heat protectant. So seeing if you already put such product in. Either way, he should use it again anyway. Also love our channel!
Here in Quebec, every hair stylists provides every product for care payed for. See it like this, going for a perm? Need to have ur coton around set up and wands with you, or if ud go to get you hair trimmed but need to bring cisors. Love, they should all ask you if hair is cleaned, clean it , dry it and put all oils and protectives necessairy.. at least in real salon... obviously worst reviews wont be providing that, like in some of your worst make up videos, some MUA use hairspray on u pretending its setting spray 😅🤣
I think the biggest offense here is the lack of skin prep and dirty tools which happens at every place you visit LOL. Sometimes my stomach turns when I see the sponges they use on you 😂
I like to see a MUA use a cape/gown to protect clothing so that was ticked. I think the makeup looked really nice but the hair was just too ordinary. Suppose it was not bad value though
I went to a beauty school to get my hair cut and i told the girl absolutely no heating products to my hair so she offered to braid it when it was done, and i ok'd it which im glad i did because it turned out nice.
