Daisy player here. It used to be that Peach's turnips had less base knockback but higher knockback growth. The problem was that this is a straight buff in a competitive setting. You want your turnips to combo at low% and kill at high%/edgeguards, so Peach was just better. But the "balance" would have been to make one character just have stronger turnips, which would have made them just better in a casual setting. So now there's only one difference between the characters. When Peach runs she daintily lifts her dress and tucks her arms in, while Daisy breaks into a full Naruto sprint. So occasionally when you're running away Daisy gets clipped by arcing fairs in situations where Peach wouldn't. Like a tiny Mewtwo tail. But its such a minor nerf that ppl just play the character they vibe with.
