Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha was always perceived as an “honest” politician,. But what one of his own bureaucrats has pointed out speaks volumes of his gross financial irregularities. In a letter shot off by J&K Bureau of Public Enterprises Chairman Ashok Kumar Parmar to J&K Chief secretary its has been alleged that a bill of Rs 10 lakhs for Sinha’s son’s engagement party was paid by the state exchequer.

Sharad ji, I am sorry to say that, either you have very little knowledge about this region of the country, or you are obsessed with Kashmir region, as you yourself had mentioned in the very beginning of your address that Manoj Sinha is LG of Kashmir, and not only that you & your other panelist's during the entire speech, kept on repeating the same mistake of mentioning this UT and Manoj Sinha as LG of Kashmir, despite reading and showing the letter about which you people are debating, clearly mentioned it as UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
