This reminds me of my former life in Africa. Growing up farming and enjoying the labour of my work at harvesting was the most pleasurable moments. This is very therapeutic as your taking care of your farm equals the result of your harvesting. I built stamina doing this hard work. Now in the 🇺🇸. The hard work pays off. I thank my parents for teaching me hard work. African parents please teach your kids our heritage, hard work instead of spending money on things that are not meaningful.

Well done and long live Granny! She's still going strong after the age of 81! My grandmother left us at age of 106 a decade ago, I still miss her. Nature is beautiful, and the reason God is highly appreciated! Awesome farm excursion, well-done family. BTW, I am a 🇬🇭 aian and proud to be African.

I'm very very impressed with this video. A typical Ghanaian village life and it has taken me back to my childhood years when I was staying with my grandmother. Every Saturday we go to farm and the the part I loved most was lunchtime. The cooked plantain, yam or cocoyam is poured on plantain leaves spread on the ground. The experience is wow.

Oh woow village life z always the best,so peaceful.My grandmother passed away when she was 90 yrs, still strong and farming.l guess thus the reason they live long because they eat organic food and iwalking a long distance to the farm keeps them fit.God bless old school

at 9:17, Hey I am coming from farming family, we use khurpi for same, you can use same for this type of cleaning and that is easy to use and people can work longer, the way you folks are cutting it is hard and one can not work whole day by half bending

Young people have distances themselves from farming! To them its primitive, old-fashioned, is there an educated young woman in the city who wants to go back home and farm? They would rather do tiktok videos all day long. Here's food for thought, a young man lives 10 acres of land in Mumias, goes to the city to look for a job, becomes a watchman, has children, live in Kawangware with his family! Think about that.

Our youth in Africa should rethink about taking farming to the next level, our ground fathers and grandmother are about to exit, who is going to take over from them? Farming is a trillion-dollars industry, don't look at it with a mediocre lens, is a big industry that can make you super-rich while feeding people around the world. Our parents did Peasant farming, which was good in their era, times have changed. we can't do the same today. Most universities in Africa have an abundance of research on agriculture use it to your advantage.

We grow a lot of cassava in Ugabda, especially in the North and the East. Kenyans generally don’t grow or eat cassava
