When we start talking about trash talk, there was just no way that we could go through this entire video without bringing up Patrick Beverley. This is a moment that has come around a lot in recent memory, but Beverley openly told Steph this, “You had the last five years, the next five years are mine!”
This was in response to Curry and the Golden State Warriors dominating everybody that they came up against for a stretch of time.
Now, this statement didn’t necessarily result in Steph openly trash talking him back, but he did let his play on the court do the talking. Steph continued to wreak havoc with the Warriors for the next five years and then some.
Meanwhile, Beverley saw himself get included in a variety of trade packages and has never really been known as a starting point guard in the league.
Steph didn’t even need to say anything here, just embarrassed him with his own play on the court. Now that’s COLD!
