Caleb Larsen yea but don’t you need 10 curses to open it?, it would have been better to transmute it into something more useful, since he said he didn’t like it, but that’s just my opinion
I already know that these videos are of good quality enough for me to like while I’m still on the ad of the video. None of these videos have yet to prove my actions to be too hasty so far.
@@Jackpkmn Breakfasting is a term in the Binding of Isaac where the last available item in the item pool is called Breakfast, which is a health up item. Hot Cross Buns is the Breakfast of Undermine
@@Jackpkmn Pretty sure he means from Binding of Isaac. There's a way you can sort of get messed up item generation and keep getting the item "Breakfast" and nothing else. In BoI its when an item pool is depleted and from then on it will only spawn Breakfast item.
Thanks guys, when i googled it it just came up with a ton of "i got breakfasted" threads and videos with cryptic pictures and videos attached that assumed you knew what that meant already.
When you have Kurtch's stash at the final boss, try to catch the pink orbs the boss fires, you can get 10 curses that way and activate it for some extra gold ;)
While I got into your videos due to Stardew Valley and just overall enjoyed the insanity of your goals. This is by far my favorite series of videos you've made. From the sarcastic shenanigans to the sudden realization dawning... its a great time here.
I love watching your videos from where I am in Japan, I am stationed over on an American naval Base and your videos always give me a smile, keep up the good work
@@ellerealyay1293 If I was 11 seconds earlier your reply had tempted me to make a reference to the mentioned game. Now I will just go back to my garden and enjoy the evening. Damn you Elle Realyay
So from the looks of it, like the binding of Isaac, when you get a certain amount of relics in underminer they get health items. In Isaac they give you breakfast which increases your hearts
i think the hot cross buns were because you exhausted the item pool, similiar to how binding of isaac (rebirth onwards) uses breakfast for EVERY item when the item pool is out.
Sooo, I have a feeling that, since you rolled things into the Hot Cross Buns, that seems to be the equivalent of rolling into Breakfast in Binding of Isaac. So basically, what happened was, you drained the item pool, so that was basically all you could get out any more items. The same thing, over and over. Grats, you truly broke it this time DF.
The Binding of Isaac does the same thing with item changing in shops and such, once you get through whatever items are queued as available in a particular run, it puts a junk placeholder item instead for the rest of the run.
DF, I don't know if youve hear of the game "noita" or not, but you should check it out. It has everything you like in it! Gold, bombs of varying sizes, and regret! Plus its a bunch of fun.
Honestly I hope the people who made this game is watching his videos, because in a lot of his videos he discovers things that either could be improved upon or changed, unless intentional by the game dev. Not only have I noticed things he's discovered about this game, but also other games that game devs could take into consideration in changing or improving upon.
you missed your chance DF to combine Grimhilde's Mirror (Return projectiles with an attack) and Floating Skull (A shield that blocks projectiles, most of the time) for the Mirror Shield. I won't say what it does. But it is definitely worth it. ^_^ Also if you can get the Lockpick and Lucky Charm it is so OP too. but in a different way. ^_^ Keep up the great work DF!!!!
Oh i think hot cross bun are the undermine version of breakfasting. So in binding of isaac if you get items such as the d6 who swap all the pedestal items (relics) into pther ones from the same treasure pool. However after a while once you exhaust the treasure pool everything turns into the breakfast item which reads “health up”. You dont get any other item from that item pool anymore even if you reroll them. So in undermine once you reroll enough to exhaust the item pool you just get hot cross buns is my guess.
Just a dumb idea to try out, you should stack the potions that remove 5 curses and use them with the final boss since He gives you free courses with each orb hit :D
Same shit happened to me with the Absolution potion. Hopefully they change the description to "When you have exactly 5 different curses, removes all 5 curses" or something along those lines
The buns remind me of what happens in Isaac when you hit the end of the pool and just get Breakfast for every other item after that. Interesting that it's popping up for consumables though; I guess this game has reroll protection for everything and not just items(relics)?
If you want a way to break the game with built in mechanics and max out your gold you should get the golden apple, golden popcorn, and seasoned popcorn. Use the potion familiar to get as many chances for rainbow kernels so you can duplicate the potion that doubles food or gold. You'll only need about 4 potions to start seriously slowing the game.
Id suggest trying out some of the harder steam achievements (if you got it on steam that is) Especially fun is getting 99 keys/bombs + Keyblade & some solid attack speed. 99 × 2 => 198 swing dmg from just 1 item Better to try it out on higher ng's like around 10 or so
If the savagery blessing appears, I always take it over damage or attack speed. Those only affect either swings or throws, while savagery affects both.
16:47 You managed to "Breakfast" Undermine? Something pretty easy to do in Binding of Isaac but shouldn't really happen here, then again I guess starting with your bombs acting like a D6 that would be an easy way to Breakfast the game (In Binding of Isaac if you managed to view every item in a single run running out the item pool then every item after that point would be breakfast, hence calling it "Breakfasting the game")
