the reason you keep killing enemies, I believe, is because the chance to transform them to gold counts as a kill. also I believe the gold from level ups also counts as experience meaning the constant level ups become almost self sufficient

Limit break is typically what lags out the game, since each time you level up it triggers the leveled up weapon to fire regardless of cooldown, and with how fast Sammy levels up, you just fill the screen with Vicious Hunger eyes instantly lol. Disabling limit break still lets you level up like crazy, but because your level ups are going into coin bags, it doesn't trigger the weapon again, and therefore doesn't lag your game out with a bajillion Vicious Hunger eyes. And I think because of Greatest Jubilee's chance to spawn rings of items (which goes up with your rapidly increasing luck), you can still kill basic enemies/get chests with the occasional Rosary drop, despite their curse level being too high for Vicious Hunger/Jubilee to kill the enemies themselves.

I tried out Sammy last night. Was curious to do the egg/gold farm. I did similar getting Mad Groove first so I could get all the passives, picked up all the arcana and slowly made my way to the egg farm area of the new map. I left it running in the background, then overnight while I was sleeping. I woke up to Sammy having died somehow, but after around 11 hours he was lvl 107k+, 55k eggs, and over 15 BILLION gold. Not the fastest gold farm, but with the eggs it will make a gold farm better IF I ever need more, though with the egg farm gold is mostly not needed.

If you take Arcana VI - Sarabande of Healing along with Disco of Gold and Mad Groove, the constant inbound of gold and therefore healing, which deals damage, fuels your DPS so high that you can run this a lot faster and longer. I've had 6 Weapons (VH, Garlic, Strom, Lightning ring and the rest I forgot) and similar buffs like you but the weapons were only interesting in the beginning. In the end, Sarabande of Healing had a DPS of *25 Million* when I stopped the run after ~125 minutes (I had Hyper, Hury, Arcana, Inverse, Endless on and bought a couple of other arcanas like the one that creates the damaging area for Garlic). The results I remember: 25M DPS by Sarabande of Healing lvl 75k 2.2B gold

If I remember correctly, Jubilee damage also scales with Luck, which keeps going up when you level with Wicked Season, that's why it had such high damage numbers :D

I always try to like and comment on these to help the algorithm. I think I've been subbed since like 15k subs if I remember right, and I'd love to see you hit 100K

I tried a limit break run with Sammy and something about the Vicious Hunger just grinds the game to a halt. The no limit break is actually really strong because the gold gain is very good.

the best map for this is Abyss foscari, but make sure you have all pickups from light sources banned next time. Chicken, freezes, rosaries, magnets, all useless. You should go for max curse pretty early, as the guardians cant do anything against you with gold rush, and more enemies=more gold. And dont forget clover when you go for ophion. The unevolved version of ophion and luminaire are on the abyss foscari stage.

I remember doing this with Disco of Gold + Sarabande of Healing before running over to grab Wicked Season, since the healing from the gold results in immense amounts of damage to everything in the vicinity.

Tried the exact same thing, and it seems the limiting factor within this strategy is how powerful your pc is lmao. I was getting 15ish FPS towards the end, and my pc just couldn't handle how fast I was levelling up (ie the rate at which the "LV" number in the top right was rising was significantly slower than the video, as well as how quickly I could earn level up gold.) Resulted in still insanely high numbers, but overall lower power scaling from Wicked Season and overall lower gold.

So I am trying out the strat you mentioned where you add in the Ophion, with the insta-kill chance, and I will say that I'm still in the run as I'm typing this, but the main issue I ran into is that you can't pick up any chests once you hit full-speed level-ups with Sammy. To counteract this, I tested if I could pick it up if I manually pressed the Gold Bag level-up reward and...yes it does work, but in my experience, even with the three weapons and everything fully maxed, it still takes until around 2 minutes for the evolution chest monster to spawn, and another minute to kill it. So that is already an immediate downside of this strat (unless you can somehow get both candyboxes immediately for Jubilee & Ophion). That said, as of writing this, I am about 7 minutes in and at around 20 million gold. Obviously it's a bit slower at the start because I intentionally delayed picking up the other pick-ups because I was afraid I would get rolling too hard even with manual level-ups but I'll update once I reach 30 minutes to let you know what amount of gold I got. Edit: at 30 minutes I have approximately 269 million gold. Now, I do want to point out that I did not pick up the overworld pick-ups until after I evolved Shadow Servant into Ophion, so that could maybe make a difference if I pick those up earlier, but I'm not 100% convinced that would make the difference of 120 million gold here. But I could be wrong, but it was a nice thing to try out nonetheless! I think I'll continue for one more round of 30 minutes, just to see how it goes. If it more than doubles the amount of gold I'll edit this post again to say so, but if there's no edit, then I most likely bailed midway due to obvious problems with killing enemies or sammy dying. Edit2: Ok so I missed the 60 minute mark by a bit, but yeah it definitely ballooned way more. I waited another hour to edit this, and I'm almost at 120 minutes now and I am less than 100 million gold away from 5 billion. I'll be honest, this is way more than I expected sooo yeah, I feel this definitely helped, though obviously because I didn't test this without Ophion (the 2 hour long run), I don't know if it would get this insane without the 3rd weapon. Definitely an amazing farm option for people who have the bare minimum required to do this, as you don't need any eggs at all (in fact, having eggs makes it worse).

holy smokes, yeah, adding that heart makes this even more insane! Once you've hit 30 mins, you're not really killing anything anymore,m but you continue to level up like mad bfrom all the backlog.. I also noticed a HUGE lag from when I picked stuff up, to when it actually applied. I initially thought the items I grabbed were getting destroyed by vicious hunger somehow, but then 10 mins later I go tthe popups for items and chests, haha

Man, crazy how 2 Arcana and the right weapon(s) just break this game in two... At 11 minutes into the level I can't pick up chests anymore because he's leveling up so fast...😅 Took about half an hour before the game realized, "Oh yeah, you picked up some chests huh?" Edit: Got to 250M gold before I got bored.

Okay, now I need to put the Ophion on Sammy and see how that affects his gold-making abilities. FOR SCIENCE!

Love the fact that Dex is concerned about dying when he is making 10k gold in a never ending level up cycle while under the effect of the Disco of Gold Arcana. This literally means an enemy has to practically one shot him to kill him due to his health Regen. Disco of Gold makes it so gold heals whenever gained, and I am fairly certain that extends to level ups due to gold chests healing as well. My Sammy build usually is Disco of Gold and Game Ender Arcana. It gives Sammy a much needed damage boost and doesn't prevent him from leveling up like it would others due to his gaining experience with gold.

When we thought that the most broken character was queen sigma, a new character appeared that is much more broken.

Ok, so hear me out: last arcana saraband of healing. You get easily over 100k gold per second and would deal double as much to surrounding enemies thanks to disco of gold turning it into healing

I let it run overnight and I'm now at 513minutes. It is still going at lvl 128k+ and 10.3billion gold. Also my luck, growth, greed and curse are at 64k%. I think this fixes all the money problems you may ever have.

It looks like the good from level-ups contributes to the good fever

The lagging problem is due to Limit Break Gattia Maris evolution. deaktivate limit break and all is fine. To stay alive take always chicken. I did a run yesterday 180 minutes and made ~460 mil. just being afk. and due to the level up engine lag the chests aren't working ^^

I farmed golden eggs with maruto and the lag was so bad that i was clipping through the map, i even killed the final boss without even seeing it. this game and amazing and it can get so stupid, I love it

The new engine has a problem with enemy spawns. I was trying to get the 100,000 kills with Genevieve and it was literally impossible because there were so little enemies with Torrena, Skull Maniac, the ring and arrow, and wicked season. Like SIGNIFICANTLY less enemies on screen than there should have been. It's definitely a bug but I had to swap back to the original engine in order to get the achievement.

When you are leveling that fast the only way to get Arcana most of the time is to wait on the Merchant to re-spawn and buy them from him because for some reason he will always work even though no chests open and items on the ground although picked up almost always do nothing. The game simply refuses to open chests when leveling this fast unless you get extremely lucky and RNG smiles on you. My Trouser has 809,000+ Eggs on him now so all stats are well above cap and he levels as fast if not faster than Sammy. I use only Greatest Jubilee and to be honest secondary weapons do not really matter as all stats are again pretty much capped simply from Eggs with most being at 45k or higher, ( I do take Attract Orb, Torona and Skull for kicks but doubt they really do anything). Also amount is over 5k with revivals being the same. Recovery is around 14k, Armor at around the same and he has 58k health. In a single 30 min run on Moonglow with all stage modifiers enabled I then choose Wicked Season and Disco of Gold as first two Arcana. He now makes 500 million + gold in 30 mins I'm not sure what changed but it seems my Eggs now have a greater effect. When the merchant returns the first time, (around 15 min mark), I grab Saraband of Healing due to Greatest Jubilee constantly feeding me chickens and Disco's healing the damage it does is insane, it's in the G's. It generally out damages Greatest Jubilee with both being around the 4 to 5G total damage range at the end of 30mins even though I only have Saraband for 15 mins of the run. If I go Endless and the Merchant returns I grab Silent or the one that retaliates and raises health because with Attraction being in the 45k range it also does decent damage but nothing like GJ or Sara. This is hands down the best way I've found to date for farming gold and I spent a couple months testing and the lag is tolerable as the game is not a slide show. Thanks for all you do for the game Dex and the enjoyment I get from your channel no matter what you're playing. Even though at times it may seem I'm being negative about something please know I always leave a like on your videos no matter how much I might disagree with something in them. You once stated you liked having debates and talking about optimal play in games and I hope that still holds true. Sorry for the book of a comment and please keep them coming...

You know what's even more effective for getting subscribers? Making it fun, different, interesting. Maybe something like "Make sure to limit break the subscriber button" or "Evolve the subscriber weapon to its grey form" instead of just saying to subscribe. It's more effective because if not it doesn't mean as much for people.

You just need 2 arcanas; grow, luck, chance, curse increaser and disco gold. One of them keeps your gold gain higher with every level while the other one keeps healing you and you should play with a limit. With limit break, Vicious Hunger makes lag since +%2,5 area stat; just chose perma golden bag and stay afk. I just got nearly 80m gold in a 30 mins game, had only 1 egg. Btw, after a certain period, your killing counter gets slower since curse got a peak and your might stays same so your damage can be inadequate for even the smallest units but you don't die easily since the healing effect.

Talking about statistics, while the gameplay in the background is lagging THE HELL OUT is just hilarious xD Also don't worry! I don't mind the call out at all :)) keep doing it! Especially because it works :0

In bestiary you can check enemy HP. Most say a number and a few a number per level, so I guess most enemies do not scale with level (with wicked season they do, indirectly, because of curse).

I did this but I just walked to get the stage items so I could replace Mad Groove with Sarabande of Healing. It had 1.5G damage!

Dex the Greatest Jubilie scales and ends up doing quite a bit of damage. Also if I read correctly at some point chests will always turn into gold, can't remember what the reason was though, but one of the stats makes it so you will not collect chests any longer so you need to get all your pick ups early on.

Well that's ridiculous, I was not expecting to see a character go to level 27k so easily. I'm grateful we were able to get a whole run lag free. I had a hard time following what was going on in the first part of the video, other than swapping laural I have no idea what you changed, or why the game suddenly stopped lagging.

I've tried this a number of times, even after buying a ton of eggs on Sammy and still don't level as fast as this nor is the gold fever constant despite following the end refined build exactly. Still makes a shedload of gold, just curious how he's leveling so incredibly fast.

Eye + Disco of gold + wicked season + jubilee +Laurel + blood astronomia + Saranband of healing (minimal lag)

And this is actually not the most efficient way of farming golden eggs if you consider the time it takes to buy them. If you stand in the lower right corner of the secret room with the mini guardians or glitch through the wall to go a bit lower you can kill so many of them that you can reach over 20k eggs in one run on hurry mode.

Once I reach 20th minute there's so many mobs and stuff happening that I can not open the menu with "escape" button. Any trick how to stop the run? Because if I alt+f4 the game doesnt sync and I lose all the progress of that run.

Dex, why don't you replace the silent old sanctuary with a saraband of healing? With such a flow of gold and getting gold for leveling up, this should burn monsters around the character with the power of the sun. And the power of this will grow with the character. While the silent old sanctuary gives a small bonus that will not grow with the level in any way, because this character does not get a power boost with the level. Unfortunately, I can't see how it will work on my fifteen-year-old laptop with 2 fps. But it would be interesting to see what happens on a more powerful PC. translated. i hope somebody will understand what i say.

Hey! I did everything the exact same as you did but after about 30 minutes I just earned 44 mil. I played on Hyper, endless and inverse with arcanas on but still nothing close to what you got... Any Idea what could be the reason for that??

In my current run, Sammy has broken the universe and cannot pick up chests or items on the ground; he simply annihilates them. He is still collecting gold regardless.

If each gold was equal to one cent, even at a rate of 380 million every 30 minutes, you would still be receiving money slower than Jeff Bezos during a good week.

I tried this exact build with sammy and i got less gold by a factor of 10, while he's blown past 10mil and beyond i'm struggling at 1 mil. Still crazy gold but much less. Is that just golden egg differences?
