As a mathematician, I feel like I should point out that 9 quintillions 223 quadrillions 372 trillions 36 billions 854 millions 775 thousands 807 weapons is significantly less than infinity. Practically, though, you are unlikely to see a difference when you have to buy weapons manually in the shop one at a time.
Reminds me of the bug back when the game was in the free beta where you were able to autoclick onto a starting weapon, giving you a ton of that weapon.
Around 15:00 you were asking about "why am I getting material?" I think that's because of the hunting trophy; like you get the material from crits automatically instead of having to pick up the material.
You will buy cyclops worm and other good offensive range down items, so range is good in very efficient items like night googles or just baby gecko because you take it anyways on endless
I think it'd be funny if you did a run with infinite weapons, but no other upgrades (except for economy ones). So no extra dmg, atk speed or something like that!
The issue is that melee weapons can't hit the enemies anymore rather fast. So you gotta increase range like stupid which limits their attack speed (the fastest attack speed is tied to how long the animation takes), so it is theoretically possible, but sounds like a horrible experience
Shuriken is indeed the odd one out: a ranged weapon that scales on melee. Can be real nifty for some of the melee-only scaling bros. As for the crossbow not showing up after so many waves: the game has a weapon type priority system where it will favor your current weapon type(s) over others in the shop. Crossbow doesn't share tag types with the vast majority of ranged weapons (medieval is otherwise all melee).
Dex, you should try a modified run like this but deployables only -- landmines / turrets / farms etc. dunno if others would like it but i think it would be cool 👍🖖
You should get the mod that shows you the extra benefits you get (for example, getting dodge, it shows you the extra attack speed you get (if you have retromations hoodie))
Huh, you are actually right, I wonder what caused that. I have 3 things coming to my mind but nothing that would outright explain it: -I used a mod to change the starting character stats, which is the reason why I had so many weapon slots (and no penalty the Multitasker usually has) -I used a mod that allows you to change weapons, this one was meant to remove all melee weapons but when I tried that, I realized it can't -I modded Brotato myself to remove the melee weapons (well, more or less given I missed some), and the Godot software changed a bunch compared to when I used it the last time, I may have messed up something without realizing. As in I struggled a ton to open up the list that references all the data for weapons and clicked around a bunch, but nothing that should have this effect -Or I guess as a 4th one, that just the unpacking/packing process failed, because I had to do it twice after the old one I knew failed in an error

So I figured you might have had that installed? But if that were the case I assume that would have been at the top of your suspect list! But in any case, it’s super cool that you’ve modded the game yourself! And it’s a lot of fun to watch your own creative additions!
I would've combined all the basic weapons at some point to decrease the size of the circle but increasing the damage. You still would've had way more weapons than usual.
The "hmm I haven't considered that" in relation to the amount of income going towards weapons but not stats after the multiple times turning down income increases and saying you don't really need them... bruh
Hey, I’m American but I don’t have that many guns! I only own about 27!! One of them is a .50 BMG, but the rest are just. AR’s and pistols, oh and about 10 shotguns. Don’t judge us all as gun nuts with hundreds, some of us can’t afford that many!
