Just got my cdl in November Gonna take my crack at getting lucky on that local work around my area before I just give up and goto a mega carrier Can’t be away from home like that shits scary plus life goes by too fast when you have a family lol
@@floridaman1776 check this out I have drove for 31 years I have done 10yrs otr oilfield local work but for the last 3yrs I started working for an ltl company and I couldn’t be happier no bs I run nights 5 days a week home every day and off on weekends I regret not making this move long time ago early in my career
Initially I thought the same, but started watching more and I understand his perspective. Sounds like this is a means to an end, as long as he's not on here years from now doing the same then ima support
Just starting to watch ur videos. U tell it like it is. I was born in Southern California, lived in east LA. Good to keep looking for a job u really like. My worst job shoveling rabbit manure from pen. Finally ended up Retired A/C mechanic. Traveled all over world. Take care safe traveling.
That’s terminal is Lame!!If your truck 🛻 has to get worked on you’ll be there for a couple of days.1/2 the time the showers 🚿 are down. When I ran OTR for knight I hated going to that terminal.
I want to go back into trucking but the truck stops deter me with the lack of parking, tight backs, the accidents I've witnessed, the filth and the people that hog up fuel islands to go take a shower.
This guy really wants a owner operator with multiple years in the business wage as a driver who has less than 5 years experience 😅 You sir are an example of why you shouldn’t get intro trucking because you want a different job 😂
Dude can’t make up his mind. Thinks he knows everything abt the industry and thinks he’s reached the cap off of working at just 2 trucking jobs. 2 of the worst companies at that
Chill man, we're just doing a job like others. Homie here said the same in one of his recent videos. I haul fuel, people thank me for what I do and it makes me cringe. I don't expect or demand respect from anyone, just let me do my thing out on the road so I can make money and enjoy life outside this rolling bomb I'm driving lol
@RedRedred-ld4pb obviously your new to trucking or work for swift.they are the but of every joke.i watch atleast one of there drivers fuck up at every truck stop hitting curbs, parking in the way of other trucks bc they cant back up.watched one yesterday drop a trailer at the truck stop .Knight different story if you suck they send you to swift.
Bro bartending is like the Uber in a casino or bar it’s not full time. RU-vid is cool on your days off. Get something steady and recession proof. F trucking it’s a trap. You leave you can’t even get a warehouse job because you’re no good besides holding a steering wheel. So what do most people do to back. Life goes on and you learn no real skill
Cool hearing you talk about bartending. There’s definitely good money to be made there if things are right. You seem like your personality would be good for it too.
I agree 💯 percent. Truckers don't get paid enough. You all need to get paid double if not more. I have been watching trucking RU-vid videos for a few months now, had no clue what you all go through until now. Stay Safe 🙏
ARGEED , on the cash part of a driver ! the normal person does not know the daily issues a driver has to go through , from your own dispatcher to delivery locations and just the traffic a driver has to watch ! Brother nice reping BCRAW and Giants ! be safe and thats all drivers .....
If I’d gone to work for CR England (one of the worst companies to work for if not western express) and made 40k gross earnings for two years I’d quit too but there are better companies out there. Also get some endorsements.
The right company in trucking is real rewarding just have to find a private fleet or family owned company. I work for a private fleet family owned daycab hourly job. This will be my second time finishing a whole yr with over 100k grossed.
Having your own business is not that much less stressful it's just which kind of stress would you like to endure. Your own business maybe even more stressful.
Little advice….always lower the landing legs and disconnect glad hands before releasing fifth wheel. That way, if you get distracted, you won’t pull out and drop the trailer on the ground. It can happen. Enjoying your videos!
