I love Ronnie's attitude. All the surgeries and pains and shit he's been going through, what does he have to say about it all? "I think I could've got five with 800. I think I could've got five, EASY reps." There's something to learn from this too. If something is important to you, give it your all. He regrets not going for five. All these years later and he still thinks about that. He don't even seem to give a fuck about the pain and the surgeries he's endured. I remember this video, he did 800 for two and put it back on the rack. I think he could've got five too.

Ronnie had the best genetics, trained the optimal way, took top quality gear and had the money to fuel it all. He had all factors in place. That is why he is the GOAT.

Levrone was also seriously strong, crazy strong.

Flex had the cream of the crop genetics. Tremendous v taper, a world class physique but ronnie just had that freak factor. Crazy traps, lats and chest. Later on his gut spilled out from the growth and the diet but the early ronnie was the absolute best of the best.

Ronnie Coleman pushed his body past its physical limits. That's the difference between elite-level bodybuilding and most forms of functional strength training.

Ronnie is still humble. He said Arnold would beat everyone if he was held to todays standards with the modern nutrition and gear cycles because Arnold wasn’t a big eater. Ronnie still gives respect to those before him even though he doesn’t understand that there will probably never be a physique like his because of his reliance on free weights and his unreal training. You see it in most of todays huge pros with weak backs and soft physiques with poor separation.

I don't think people realize how many factors there was that had to be just right to make Ronnie the champ that he became. Some people might build muscle easily. Others might have a naturally thin skin and low body fat. Some might be naturally strong. Others might have a good enough joints to handle LOTS of abuse. Some might have great work ethics. Others might be able to see the glass as half full rather than half empty during dark times. Some might get away with never eating vegetables. Others might have a very high pain tolerance. Some might have a pleasing muscle tie ins across most of the body. Others might have enough cash to be able to approach a career in any sport. Some might actually be interested in working out and building lots of muscle. Others might be in the right environment to be able to do just that. But very, very few nail all of the above. To my knowing there is only one, and that's Ronnie.

i really feel like no bodybuilder should ever speak back about the GOD Arnold and the Demi God Ronnie Coleman!!!! Those 2 men are truly gods.

This is amazing coming from someone like Kevin levarone he made some great points about Ronnie Coleman however I witnessed the '90s bodybuilding area I followed that in I followed the careers of Kevin flex and Sean Ray those guys were amazing and they all I think at some point should have won the Mr Olympia contest at some point in their career however everything you said about Coleman is true if you don't train like that you won't ever be able to obtain the reward and the benefits of training like that like Ronnie Coleman

You gotta understand Ronnie was competing against other amazing bodybuilders. There’s a reason why Lee Haney 8x Mr Olympia is forgotten sometimes because in the 80s no one was really on his level so they were easy wins for him

Maybe politics idk but flex deserves props for what he has done and to not have one Olympia I don’t just feel bad I feel he was cheated at one point. Ronny was a phenomenon but Flex was robbed. Ronny never had great aesthetics but he had unprecedented slabs of cut beef combined with Asgardian strength. His mindset is praised but it crippled his body.

Ronnie trained as hard as he did cause he thought everybody else was training like that..

I've heard a bunch of people debate who the GOAT is.........we all know the greatest decade for bodybuilding was the 90's...........almost EVERY competitor of the 90's will tell you that sir Ronnie Coleman is the greatest bodybuilder EVER..........AND lol no matter what Flex says about how he showed Ronnie what gear to take, I believe he only told him because he had no fear of Ronnie becoming what he became......If he thought for ONE SECOND that Ronnie would turn into what he did, Flex would have never told him the secrets.

Ronnie COLEMAN CHANGED BODYBUILDING 4-ever, he took the MR.UNIVERSE THRONE after DORIAN YATES, BEFORE Ronnie it was a lot more symmetrical but now the MAIN FOCUS is about MASS, i don't know IF THAT'S BETTER,but every sport goes through a evolution at some point. Which is better is NOT FOR ME TO DECIDE!
