Six years have passed since I lost my father and I'm doing fine, but sometimes I feel that their is an empty space left inside my heart since then. This song hits pretty close to home right now because just 2 days ago, we got news that my brothers best friend passed away. What is even sadder, and more haunting is that my brother was the one who called 911 and was on the phone with him right after his friend had tried to end his life. My brother was the last person to talk to him and try to help him before he left this world. I was never really close to him, but he was a very kind person and had a full life ahead of him, graduating college, becoming a firefighter, getting married, and living life to its fullest. My heart breaks at the fact that he will never come over during the summer to play the newest games that they were waiting for, play D&D in his garage with his friends, and come over and stay up all night watching the new Stranger Things season. If you know someone struggling with depression or mental health issues, help them as soon as possible and get them the help they need so they don''t devastate everyone around them with their loss.
