Being pred or masters doesn't matter anymore it's about the mmr or hidden rank. You could be pred or master and be playing with silver and gold players
14:03 I just wanted to pause here cause, dude has 9 kills and 4 assist. Yet because he’s in 9 place only 25+ RP. This is why ranked fights are never usually this fun, placement matters more than this kinda game
So this season, the high kill games start in ranked in the 2nd half of the match - cause at that time you just start fighting against guys who've been ratting and haven't shot a bullet all season XD
Ranked is no longer matched with rank in mind, they’ve removed the current rank of your teammates and removed it from kill feed for what? So they can give you any rank teammates. I thought maybe it would even out as we got a few weeks in but nope. Still getting bronze and silver teammates going against 50% diamond trail lobbies.
I hit plat 1 today and so far I like playing with all the master diamond players and few preds they actually play as a team. I have been getting people who either hide in trees or in corners until I hit plat 2 and it's not getting as irritating since
I've been playing pubs a lot and ive noticed that the matchmaking is worse, I used to get decent teammates here and there but now it's just been really bad players. They need to fix their matchmaking for sure.
I think that the reason the lobby/ players might feel weaker is cause of how the new ranked system works. To play passive and just survive is a shift change from playing for kills and it makes a different pool of players to be in the masters/ pred lobbies
@@blah1075 yup. Players in higher rank now just camp to get there and actually don’t know how to fight so when they go up against ppl who actually can fight the campers lose
I had these 2 teammates that dropped solo as soon the match started then took a gun and then flew themselves to a high spot where no one could see them. When I asked them why they told me to leave them alone. These where diamond 2 players. Ended 4th place cause they both died with 0 dmg. Never helping me when I was wiping a full team
Curious to hear how many points you guys got for skill and elimination??? I had a 4 kill game and we won it. 200 placement points and 0 for skill and elimination. Dont know what how heck is this rank system working😂

NAH...the rank matchmaking system is dumb this season. They're just throwing us noobs into lobbies against Preds and Masters so they can farm us! I kept getting killed by 3 stack Preds or Masters while I was Plat with a random Silver and a random Gold on my team.

I'd love to see the breakdown on the rank of the players you were killing. I'm Gold 1 and have been consistently in masters and pred lobbies every other game since silver 2. Even got killed by FunFPS and the XSET crew the other day.

This is scary lmao. Also, the matchmaking is DEFINITELY messed up. I’m a gold player playing diamonds consistently. It’s kind of ridiculous. Even if you haven’t played in a while but got diamond in an earlier season, it’s still not fair. Playing Apex is like riding a bike. You never forget. I can go years without playing and pick the controller up and get to gold easy.
All you need to know about ranked is after 10 squads left is when you'll get more lp and the matchmaking isn't working like at all, if it feels easy it's because you're killing lower ranks which also will give you less lp because that's respawns response to "balancing"ranked
That’s not it at all it feels easy because more trash ppl are in higher rank now because how easy it is to rank up. Have nothing todo with lower rank ppl
Playing duos yesterday team mate down and a full squad coming for me dropped one then two pull back so i coukd reheal r99 for the win squad wipe with 10hp
i started play apex again this season and idk if they changed ranked but almost all of my bronze and silver games my teamates have been gold/plat. i had more gold/plat teamates when i was bronze then anything
I stopped playing ranked already, i play like once or twice a week on a good weeonand im in silver and my random teammates were in plat or diamond and i kept getting rolled constantly. I simply dont belong in those lobbies and it sucks that i keep getting put in them
I utterly despise ranked pubs rn, kills are next to worthless in my lobbies and half the time the winners are just campers. Shit is so passive, id rather just do casual which I typically hate
I feel like this new ranked system is just going to take longer to work itself out. I assume that's why they took out the mid season resets. As y'all crush more and more false masters, they'll drop and it will all even out
Yeah this season has the most people in masters ever, but its all rats that dont really know how to play so the ranked games are feeling like pubs it looks like
That is not pred lobby . Dude I've been in a master pred lobby where there was still 15 squads camping on the 4 or 5th ring !!! That's crazy ! Every rock , every tree had a squad
Pretty sure its basically like pubs now and throws everyone together. Your points depend who you kill and their hiddeb mmr rating and rank. Its pretty stupid the way they have it this season imo.
Oh and also I gotta get you for this one, cant let you get away with it....😜 YOU KNOW that these are not "Pred Lobbies", why the feeling to click bait?? We ALL know. I was EXTREMELY disgusted by Timmy's video claiming almost 20 kill bomb in Preds just to click bait....like come on...he knows damn well these lobbies are filled with noobs. We love watching you for you, don't drop to that level.
I thought they changed the matchmaking so the strongest team member is no longer determining the lobby, but some way more sophisticated system that measures the team average performance.
This is what happens when skill is traded for placement now it doesn’t matter if you are actually good at the game if you have enough time to grind ranked and you pick a escape legend it’s easy to climb just incredibly boring
