I agree with him... All along I've been looking for this video to know the context of what he said. In this, he wasn't giving an analysis or making a critique of Ghanaian songs. He was prophesying, and says in order for this to be achieved he pleads Ghanaians write more songs in English

You just cast yourself. Why can't you write your comment in Twi? Our people don't like the truth, that's why it's difficult to have frank conversations in Africa. Until you have your Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, and Economics textbook in Twi, don't underestimate the power of English to reach a wider audience.

History is always relevant and also happens for a reason. When you fight history you can't progress. Continuous lamentation over slavery and colonisation only festers bitterness which closes the mind. But when you acknowledge the negatives and recognise the positives you can use the positive to progress faster. Whether we like it or not English is the most spoken language of the world and through colonisation we can speak it. Why can't we use it to better ourselves while maintaining our local languages as well. We complain about our colonial masters yet many of us our fighting for British passports and the other benefits of being members of the commonwealth. The hypocrisy of the black man
